FAQ
The cost of a Singapore trip from India ranges between INR 50,000 to INR 1,50,000 per person, depending on the number of days, hotel category, flight inclusions, and activities.
A Singapore tour package without flights costs between INR 45,000 to INR 90,000 per person for a 4 to 5-day trip, depending on the hotels and what is covered in the package.
Singapore is often seen as an expensive destination for Indian travelers, largely because of the strong Singapore dollar and the generally high cost of goods and services compared to other destinations in the region.
A 4 to 5 day Singapore trip gives you enough time to see the main attractions at a relaxed pace. If you want to include a side trip to Malaysia or spend more time in specific areas, extending to 6 or 7 days makes sense.
Yes, 5 days works well for a Singapore trip. You can cover Sentosa Island, the main city attractions, a wildlife experience, and still have some free time.
February, March, June, and July are generally good months to visit Singapore for the weather and overall experience. December is also popular because of the festive season but comes with higher hotel and flight prices.
Top places to visit in Singapore include Sentosa Island, Universal Studios, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay, Merlion Park, Chinatown, Little India, the Singapore Zoo, and the Night Safari.
There are multiple best things to do in Singapore. You can explore theme parks and waterparks at Sentosa Island, take a night safari, visit Gardens by the Bay, explore areas like Chinatown and Little India, take a cable car ride, shop on Orchard Road, and enjoy waterfront dining at Clarke Quay or Marina Bay.
Yes, Indian passport holders require a visa to enter Singapore. Singapore does not offer visa on arrival for Indian citizens, and the tourist visa needs to be applied for before travel.
The Singapore tourist visa can be applied for through the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website or through an authorised visa agent. JustWravel provides visa assistance as part of its Singapore tour packages to help you with the paperwork and submission.
Yes. All Singapore packages from JustWravel are customizable. You can choose your travel dates, hotels, activities, and trip duration. There are no fixed itineraries and our team will help you put together a trip that suits your preference and budget.
Description
Singapore sits at the crossroads of Southeast Asia and has built a reputation as one of the most well-organized and visitor-friendly destinations in the region. Indian travelers find Singapore easy to plan and travel to. The city is English-friendly, easy to navigate, and has areas like Little India that offer a sense of cultural familiarity to Indians. Singapore is also well connected from India, with direct flights available from multiple cities.
Singapore has a lot to offer beyond just being easy to travel to. In a single day, you can start your morning at the Gardens by the Bay, head to Chinatown in the afternoon to explore its streets and culture, and wrap up your evening at Sentosa Island. Everything is close by, and getting around is never a hassle. Families will enjoy the theme parks and wildlife attractions that keep both kids and adults engaged. Couples and honeymooners can look forward to scenic waterfront walks, rooftop dining, and cable car rides that make for a relaxed and memorable trip.
Our Singapore tour packages are designed to cover this diversified range. Depending on your trip duration and travel goals, we help you put together an itinerary that covers the key places and experiences without turning it into a checklist. Singapore is a destination that rewards a slightly slower pace, and our customized packages are built with that in mind.
The overall cost of a Singapore trip from India depends on a few key factors: the number of days, the type of hotel you prefer, whether flight costs are included, and the activities you want to add.
On average, a well-planned Singapore holiday package can range anywhere from budget-friendly to premium, depending on these choices.
Here is what each category roughly costs:
For travelers looking to keep costs manageable, a budget Singapore trip typically costs between INR 45,000 to INR 80,000 per person — our 3N/4D Singapore budget package covers city sightseeing and key attractions within this range. This includes stays at a 3-star hotel, airport transfers, and guided sightseeing at key attractions. This price range does not include flights.
A mid-range Singapore package with 4-star hotels, private transfers, and well-planned sightseeing typically ranges from INR 85,000 to INR 1,30,000 per person — our 4N/5D Singapore Sentosa package fits this category and covers Sentosa, Marina Bay, and city attractions.
For those looking for a premium experience, luxury Singapore tour packages start from INR 1,50,000 per person — our 6N/7D Singapore package covers premium stays, city attractions, and adventure experiences for travelers who want more time and comfort. These packages often include stays at famous properties in the Marina Bay or Orchard Road area. This also includes longer stays to the earlier tour packages.
Flight availability, travel season, and the number of people traveling also affect the final cost. For a more accurate estimate based on your specific dates and preferences, get in touch with our team.
We offer multiple Singapore tour packages based on different trip durations and travel styles. Whether you are looking for a budget-friendly 3-day Singapore trip or want to explore the city over 7 days with a luxury experience, we can customize everything as per your preference. Each package is customisable, which means you can swap hotels, add sightseeing places or activities, or extend your stay based on what works for you.
Singapore is a popular honeymoon destination for Indian couples for many reasons. One of the biggest is how safe and convenient the city is. Couples can explore the city at night without worrying about safety. Places like Gardens by the Bay and Cloud Forest add to the romantic atmosphere and are a big attraction for honeymooners. Experiences like cable car rides and rooftop dinners are also loved by couples.
Our Singapore honeymoon packages are built around creating those moments, with hotel choices, transfers, and experiences planned around what couples enjoy.
Singapore is one of the most family-friendly destinations in Southeast Asia. Attractions like Universal Studios, the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, S.E.A. Aquarium, and River Wonders keep families busy across multiple days.
We can help you plan your family trip and take care of the logistics so you can focus on enjoying the trip together. We plan itineraries keeping the pace, comfort, and interests of different age groups in mind.
For travelers who prefer a more upscaled experience, our luxury Singapore tour packages include elite hotel selections, private transfers, and experiences planned around your preferences. You have the option of staying in one of Marina Bay's well-known hotels, have a private city tour, or have a meal at some of the Michelin star restaurants in the city. We plan itineraries that give you a more comfortable and premium travel experience throughout the trip.
Many travelers prefer to combine Singapore with Malaysia to make the most of their trip. They pair it with exploring Kuala Lumpur and places like Batu Caves. Singapore and Malaysia are well connected by road, rail, and air, which makes combining both destinations easy and convenient.
Our Singapore Malaysia tour package covers both destinations under one plan, so you do not have to worry about separate bookings.
Singapore has a tropical climate, which means it stays warm and humid throughout the year. Unlike many other international destinations, there is no clearly defined dry or completely rain-free season. However, the timing of your visit can still make a difference to the overall experience.
November to March coincides with the Northeast Monsoon, and December and January in particular see frequent and heavy rainfall that can last several days. This period also brings Christmas and New Year celebrations to the city, with decorations and events across Orchard Road and Marina Bay. If you are visiting during this time, December and January require some flexibility in your plans around the weather.
April and May are among the hotter months in Singapore with high humidity and frequent afternoon thunderstorms. June and July see slightly better conditions and align with Indian school holidays, making them a popular time for family trips to Singapore. Hotel rates and flight prices tend to be higher during this window because of the demand. October sees more thunderstorms as the weather transitions toward the year-end monsoon, but hotel rates are generally lower and the city is less crowded than in December.
February and March are generally the most comfortable months to visit Singapore. These months have the highest sunshine hours and the lowest rainfall in the calendar year. The festive rush from December and January has passed, prices tend to settle, and the weather makes outdoor sightseeing more manageable.
If your travel dates are flexible, February or March is the best time to visit Singapore for the most comfortable weather and outdoor sightseeing. Browse available Singapore packages for these months and plan ahead.
Indian passport holders require a visa to enter Singapore. The process is relatively straightforward and approvals are generally processed without much hassle.
Singapore does not currently offer Visa on Arrival for Indian citizens. Travelers need to apply for an entry visa before their trip. The visa can be applied for through the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) or through an authorised visa agent.
At JustWravel, we provide visa assistance as part of every Singapore tour package. For a full breakdown of documents, fees, and the step-by-step application process, read our Singapore visa guide for Indians.
Sentosa Island is one of Singapore's most visited destinations and works well for travelers of all types. The island is home to:
It also has beach areas, cable car access, and a range of dining and entertainment options. The island is well connected to the mainland by road, cable car, and a short monorail, making it easy to get to and spend a full day at.
Universal Studios Singapore is one of the most loved attractions by all kinds of travelers. It is divided into six themed zones. The park covers a good range of experiences across - Hollywood, New York, Minion Land, Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World, and Far Far Away.
Minion Land is one of the newer additions where travelers can enjoy rides and activities based on the Despicable Me series. The Sci-Fi City has the Battlestar Galactica dueling coasters, while Ancient Egypt is home to the Revenge of the Mummy ride. The Lost World covers river rapids and stunt shows, and Far Far Away brings the Shrek universe to life with a 40-meter castle.
The park works well for families, couples, and solo travelers and is best visited on a weekday to avoid peak crowds.
Gardens by the Bay is a large botanical park near Marina Bay with a mix of free and paid attractions. The Supertree Grove is the most recognisable part of the park, with tall tree-like structures that light up during the Garden Rhapsody sound and light show every evening.
The OCBC Skyway offers a walkway between the Supertrees with views of the park and city skyline. The two main conservatories are the Cloud Forest, which has a large indoor waterfall and mountain trails with mist effects. Next one is The Flower Dome, which displays flowers from different parts of the world including a seasonal Sakura festival.
Floral Fantasy is a smaller attraction with hanging floral displays and a gentle ride. Other areas include the Heritage Gardens, Sun Pavilion, and Kingfisher Wetlands, making it a good destination to spend a few hours.
The Marina Bay waterfront is one of the most visited areas in Singapore and a regular stop on most sightseeing plans. The Merlion statue, Singapore's most well-known symbol, is located here and most travelers consider it a must-stop for photographs. If you don’t have a photograph from here, then it’s like having a virtual tour of Singapore.
The area also offers views of the Marina Bay Sands hotel and its rooftop infinity pool, the ArtScience Museum, and the Helix Bridge. Tourists can take a 3.5km walk along the waterfront starting at Merlion Park, crossing the Jubilee Bridge, passing the "Durian-shaped" Esplanade theatres, and heading over the Helix Bridge toward the ArtScience Museum.
For Indian travelers, Singapore offers a sense of cultural familiarity that most international destinations do not. This is especially visible in Chinatown and Little India, which give a glimpse of Singapore beyond its modern waterfront and theme parks. Chinatown is known for its heritage shophouses, Sri Mariamman Temple, Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, and local food stalls, some of which have been recognised by the Michelin Guide.
Little India, centred around Serangoon Road, feels familiar to Indian travelers with its temples, spice shops, and Indian restaurants. The area has the revered Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple and the multi-coloured House of Tan Teng Niah. Walking through Little India takes travelers from old spice shops to contemporary street murals that reflect the history of Singapore's Indian community.
The Singapore Zoo is one of the most visited open-concept zoos in Asia, with animals housed in open enclosures that resemble natural habitats. It includes Orangutan Island, where visitors can observe orangutans up close, and the Fragile Forest, a free-flight biodome with butterflies, birds, and lemurs.
The Night Safari is a separate experience within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve that operates after dark (07:15 pm). Visitors can explore the nocturnal wildlife setting through a guided tram ride or may choose to explore on foot. The reserve also has Exploria, an indoor multimedia attraction that gives visitors a closer look at wildlife. Another newly added experience is Rainforest Wild Asia, which adds adventure to trekking trails.
The S.E.A. Aquarium on Sentosa Island is one of the largest aquariums in the world. It is spread across 10 zones and is home to more than 100,000 marine animals. The highlight of the aquarium is the Open Ocean Habitat, which has one of the world's largest viewing panels to watch manta rays, giant groupers, and zebra sharks. It also has Augmented Reality stations where visitors can point their phone at the glass to get information about the marine animals passing by, adding an interactive element to the visit.
River Wonders is Asia's first river-themed wildlife park. The park takes visitors through ten major river ecosystems from around the world, including the Nile, Ganges, and Yangtze. One of the popular sections is the Giant Panda Forest, where travelers can see Kai Kai and Jia Jia(giant pandas) in an indoor enclosure. Travelers can also explore The Amazon River Quest, which is a boat ride through the Amazon section. They can spot jaguars and tapirs along the riverbanks. It is definitely a good option for families and travelers who want a wildlife experience that is different from a standard zoo visit.
For a more detailed guide on each of these attractions — what to see, how much time to spend, and what to skip — read our full guide on places to visit in Singapore.
Adventure & Theme Park Experiences
Most of Singapore's theme park attractions are on Sentosa Island. Universal Studios Singapore is the most visited among them. It covers themed zones based on popular films and franchises. Adventure Cove Waterpark on the same island has water rides, a wave pool, and a snorkeling trail where visitors can swim alongside fish.
Another adventure, iFly Singapore offers indoor skydiving in a wind tunnel, and the Skyline Luge at Sentosa has gravity-fed luge carts on a track that runs through the island.
Wildlife & Nature Experiences
Singapore has various wildlife and nature attractions for a city of its size. The Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders, and Bird Paradise are all located in the Mandai area. Their close proximity makes it easier to experience more than one in a single day.
The S.E.A. Aquarium on Sentosa is a separate option for marine life. For travelers who like open green spaces, Gardens by the Bay near Marina Bay has both indoor conservatories and free outdoor areas. The Southern Ridges is a connected trail system across several parks in the south, and MacRitchie Reservoir has walking and running paths around a reservoir in the middle of the city.
Singapore has plenty to see when it comes to city sightseeing. Chinatown, Little India, and Kampong Glam are the three main cultural districts, each with its own temples, street markets, and local food options. The Colonial District around Raffles Hotel has some of Singapore's oldest buildings and is a good stop for travelers interested in the city's history. The Asian Civilisations Museum nearby traces the history and cultures of Asia through its collections.
The Esplanade is Singapore's main performing arts venue and is open to general visitors even outside of ticketed shows. For views of the city and the southern coast, a cable car ride from Mount Faber is worth adding to your itinerary.
Leisure & Entertainment Experiences
Singapore is well known for its shopping and dining options. Orchard Road is the main shopping street, lined with several malls, restaurants, and cafes. Clarke Quay and Boat Quay are two areas along the Singapore River where most of the evening restaurants, bars, and waterfront dining spots are concentrated.
Both areas are busier in the evenings and are a common choice for dinner during a Singapore trip. The SkyPark Observation Deck at Marina Bay Sands is open to non-guests and offers a clear view of the Marina Bay skyline and the surrounding city. The infinity pool on the same level is reserved strictly for hotel guests, but visitors can see the pool area up close by heading to the CÉ LA VI restaurant or bar located on the same floor.

The easiest and practical way to travel from India to Singapore is by air. Singapore's Changi Airport is one of the best-connected airports in the world and is widely regarded as one of the finest in Asia. Here is the information regarding the direct flights from Indian cities to Singapore:

Prefer to plan your travel independently before booking? Our guide on how to reach Singapore from India covers flight booking tips, layover options, and airport transfer details.
Before traveling to Singapore it is important to know about the ‘No Boarding rule’ in Singapore. It was effected from January 2026. Under this system, the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) carries out digital screening at the check-in counter in India itself, before the traveler boards the flight.
If there are any errors in the SG Arrival Card, visa status, or passport validity, the traveler can be denied boarding at the departure gate in India. Travelers must submit their Singapore Arrival Card at least three days before traveling and ensure all documents are in order before heading to the airport. Airlines are also held responsible for boarding passengers who have been denied entry by ICA and face fines if they do so.
So, travelers must make sure that all of their required documents are up to mark for enjoying a hassle free trip.
Singapore uses the Singapore Dollar (SGD). Most hotels, malls, and restaurants accept credit and debit cards, and contactless payments are accepted at most places. That said, carrying some cash is helpful for hawker centres, smaller shops, and transport top-ups.
Currency exchange is available at the airport, banks, and licensed money changers across the city. Money changers in areas like Chinatown and Little India generally offer better rates than the airport.
Singapore's public transport system is well connected and covers most parts of the city. The MRT metro network reaches all major tourist areas and is easy to follow with clear signage in English. Bus services cover areas that the MRT does not reach.
The EZ-Link card or the Singapore Tourist Pass is the most convenient way to pay for both. Grab is also widely used and is a good option when you want to travel directly without changing lines or buses.
Singapore enforces its rules strictly and travelers must follow them.
It is worth going through the basic rules before your trip to avoid any issues during your stay.
A customized Singapore tour package helps travelers explore the city at their own pace without the stress of figuring everything out on their own. Planning a trip to an unfamiliar destination can lead to confusion. Things like choosing the right hotels and attractions, managing transfers and structuring your days can become overwhelming and that’s why it’s important to trust someone who has enough experience to handle that.
At JustWravel, we take care of all of that. We put together the entire Singapore itinerary based on the traveler's travel dates, budget, and preferences, so they can travel without the stress of planning.
Every package we put together is based on what travelers want from their trip, and is not a standard plan.
