Located on the Black Sea coast, Batumi is renowned for its subtropical climate and contemporary architecture. Think about taking in a show at the Batumi Dolphinarium and touring the Batumi Botanical Garden, which features a wide variety of plants. The city is a must-see for any Georgia tour package because it also has the moving statue of Ali and Nino, which represents a famous love tale.

3. The Rustavi

Rustavi offers a distinctive view of Georgian life with its industrial charm from the Soviet era. While the Rustavi History Museum offers an insight into the city's past, the Rustavi International Motorpark is the site of exhilarating motorsport events. Furthermore, Rustavi City Park, which hosts cultural events like Rustavi Music, is a well-liked location in Georgia.

4. The Kutaisi

One of the world's oldest inhabited cities is Kutaisi. Its culture and history are rich. The main draws here are the Bagrati Cathedral and the Gelati Monastery, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Many Georgia vacation packages also include the Sataplia Nature Reserve, which has breathtaking caves and dinosaur footprints.

5. The Borjomi

This charming resort town is encircled by mountains and verdant forests. For great hiking trails and stunning views, think about going to Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. You can sample the famous Borjomi mineral water straight from the source by exploring Borjomi Central Park. The historic Borjomi Museum of Local Lore is also located in the town.

Georgia's Visa Requirements

Indian visitors must have an e-visa in order to enter Georgia. You must first visit Georgia's e-Visa portal in order to complete the simple application process. Complete the online application, attach a recent photo and a copy of your passport, and enter your travel information. The processing time typically takes five working days, and the visa fee is around INR 2000. Make sure your passport is good for at least six months after the time you plan to visit. Additionally, you should have proof of lodging, travel insurance, and tickets for your return flight, as these may be inspected when you enter.

Tourists may stay up to 30 days with the e-Visa. You must apply for a long-term visa at the Georgian Embassy in New Delhi if you intend to stay longer than 30 days or need multiple entries. Additional paperwork is needed for this process, including a detailed travel itinerary, a letter of invitation, and evidence of financial stability. Before applying, it's crucial to review the precise requirements on the embassy's website.

Best Time to Visit Georgia

With pleasant temperatures, May through September is Georgia's busiest travel season. The pleasant weather is ideal for hiking in Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, taking in Batumi's coastal activities, and touring Tbilisi's Holy Trinity Cathedral.

Peak Season

The months of April through May and September through October provide pleasant weather. It's an excellent time to visit Jvari Monastery and Gergeti Trinity Church because there are comparatively fewer tourists. Events like the Tbilisi New Wine Festival and trips to Vashlovani National Park are ideal during this time of year.
