Rajasthan is a state in northern India and it is also the largest state in India. The name Rajasthan means “Land of Kings” and it lives up to its name with many castles, forts and lakes amidst arid deserts. Our day’s trip to the Adventures Tour Sariska starts from Delhi. We head off to Sariska Tiger reserve, which is a tiger reserve located in the Alwar district of Rajasthan, India. This reserve spreads across over 881km² in terms of area and it has unique arid forests trees, dry deciduous trees and also patches of grasslands and vast barren lands. 

There are many interesting varieties of animals that one can see here and experience them living free in the wild, the main one being the Royal Bengal Tiger. Other animals include some large mammals such as Indian leopard, striped hyenas, golden jackal, sambar deers, wild boars, mongooses, langurs, honey badgers to name a few. 

Moosi Maharani ki Chhatri is a prehistoric building which overlooks the Gopal Sagar Lake with an interesting legend attached to it.

Months from October to February are considered one of the best times to visit these places, as it won’t be extremely hot and the weather would be pleasant. This Rajasthan tour is apt for couples, family or group of friends planning to travel during a long weekend.
