Karnataka is a state located in south western reaches of India. It was formerly known as Mysore State and is the only state which is bordered by other four south states of India. The word Karnatak is derived from the words karu and nadu which means “elevated land”. This state has many unique things associated with it such as great filter coffee, national parks and sanctuaries, mystical waterfalls and amazing southern Indian delicacies. 

Our 10 nights 11 days Karnataka Tour starts from the city of Bangalore, which is the capital city of the state of Karnataka. It is a multicultural and multi ethnic city of the state which is widely known as the “Silicon Valley of India” or the “IT Capital of India”. This city is a hub of many social and cultural hangout spots which appeal to many people.

Hampi is a UNESCO World Heritage site which is located on the banks of the Tungabhadra River in east-central Karnataka. Hampi is the most famous place for tourists to go in Karnataka, where they can experience ancient temples and stone monuments overlooking the rice paddy fields. This place has a lot of boulders, where you can go for bouldering and take hikes along the place where you will get to witness the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets.

Chikmagalur is a city located on the foothills of Mullayanagiri peak of the Western ghats. The city is famous for its coffee plantations, lush green tropical rainforests and pleasant climate throughout the year.  There are some exotic options to stay amidst the mountains of Western Ghats, where you can take hikes and enjoy the best of sunrise and sunset. You can see a wide variety of flora and fauna all around you as the Western Ghats come under UNESCO Biosphere reserve.

Coorg is located in the western ghats of the Sahyadri mountains of Karnataka. It is also called the "Scotland of India" and the "Kashmir of Karnataka" of Coorg. It is famous for lush greenery, rich flora and fauna.  The city of Coorg is characterized by coffee plantations, coffee seeds, coffee aficionados and much more, making it one of the finest destinations in India to have coffee.

Mysore is known as the cultural capital of Karnataka. It is famous for many Opulent, Royal Palaces, Yoga centres and lush green sandalwood forest. 

Ooty is known as Queen of hills because of its beautiful hill views. It offers a soothing environment, cool weather and admiring sightseeing places.

Coonoor is a hill station in South India and it is known for its tea estates and lush green mountains which surround the place.

    1st Day : Bangalore Arrival to Hampi

     

    Arrival at Bangalore Airport/ Railway station in the morning/afternoon by flight/Train and transfer to Hampi. 

    It will take approximately 6 hours to reach Hampi. 

    You will be taken to your hotel where you will relax and rest. Explore the local market in your free time and back to your hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel

    2nd Day : Hampi Sightseeing

    After breakfast, you will go for full day sightseeing of Hampi. 

    Hampi is located on the bank of the Tungabhadra river in the state of Karnataka. Which is famous for its ancient beautifully carved temples, forts and other monuments as well as UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    You will explore beautifully carved walls- Virupaksha Temple, Stone captured Lotus Mahal, most impressive structure of Hampi - Vittala Temple and complex, Monkey Temple and Elephant Stables.

    In the evening back to your hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.

    3rd Day : Hampi to Chikmagalur Transfer

    After breakfast head towards Chikmagalur. It will take approximately 7 hours to reach Chikmagalur. 

    On arrival check-in to your hotel and rest. For sure you will be tired after 7 hours long journey so the remaining time is free for your own activities. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

    4th Day : Chikmagalur Sightseeing

    After breakfast, You will go for full day sightseeing of Chikmagalur.

    Chikmagalur is located on the western part of Karnataka. The meaning of Chikmagalur is ' Land of the younger daughter'. It is known for its pleasant climate and the coffee plantations.

    You will visit Seethalayanagiri and the highest peak of Karnataka - Mullayanagiri (Vehicle is allowed till Seethalayanagiri Hills, for Mullayanagiri you will need to do a little trek from Seethalayanagiri) and proceed to Dabdabe Waterfall, Baba Budangiri Hills and Manikyadhare Waterfall. In the evening return to the hotel. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

    5th Day : Chikmagalur to Coorg Transfer

    After breakfast, head towards Coorg. Which will take approximately 4 hours to reach Coorg. 

    On arrival check-in to the hotel. Have some rest and visit the local market of Coorg. In the evening back to your hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.

    6th Day : Coorg Sightseeing

    After breakfast, You will go for full day sightseeing of Coorg. 

    Coorg is located in the western ghats of the Sahyadri mountains of Karnataka. 

    It is also called as the "Scotland of India" and the "Kashmir of Karnataka" of Coorg. It is famous for lush greenery, rich flora and fauna. 

    You will explore Omkareshwar Temple, Abbey Falls, MadiKeri Fort, Dubare Elephant Camp, Golden Temple and Honnamana Kere Lake. After visiting these places back to your hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel

    7th Day : Coorg to Mysore Transfer

    After breakfast, you will depart to Mysore. Which will take 4 hours to reach Mysore. On arrival check-in to your hotel. You are free for leisure. In the evening explore the local market /Devaraja Market of Mysuru. Overnight stay in Mysuru.

    8th Day : Mysore Sightseeing

    After breakfast, You will go for full day sightseeing of Mysore.

    Our first stop will be the famous Mysuru Palace and proceed for Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, Sri Chamundeshwari Ammanavara Temple, Melody World Was Museum and Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. In the evening back to your Hotel. Overnight stay in hotel.

    9th Day : Mysore to Ooty Transfer

    Enjoy your breakfast with seine views of Mysore and depart to Ooty. It's a 7 hours long journey. On route, you will pass through various beautiful views of Mysore to Ooty road. 

    Ooty is known as Queen of hills because of its beautiful hill views. It offers a soothing environment, cool weather and admiring sightseeing places. 

    In the evening you will arrive at Ooty. Done with Check-in formalities in your beautiful Ooty hotel. Enjoy and rest in Ooty hotel.

    10th Day : Ooty - Coonoor - Ooty

    After breakfast, You will go for full day sightseeing of Ooty and Coonoor. 

    You will visit Government Botanical Garden, Ooty Lake boating point and Payara Lake. After that proceed to Coonoor. 

    You will explore Niligiri Mountain Railway, Dolphin Nose View Point, Law's 

    Falls and Sim's Park. In evening back to your Ooty hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.

    11th Day : Ooty to Coimbatore Departure

    After breakfast head towards Coimbatore. Visit Thandu Mariamman Temple which is 500 years old and drop to Coimbatore Airport/Railway Station.

Incase of government orders, harsh weather conditions , protests , landslides or any other unforseen circumstances , we work out the best possible alternate plans or trips/treks. At times even even certain activities are cancelled , the organization provides the best alternate but no refunds are provided.

 If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.), JustWravel will issue a trek voucher for the full amount and if possible will provide an alternate trek. The voucher can be redeemed upto same amount for the same trek or another trek in the next 365 days from the trek departure date.

 If a trek or trip cannot be completed due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.). No refund would be provided.
