More Thailand itineraries are being added regularly. Keep an eye on this page for upcoming departures.

Yes. As of now, Indian passport holders can travel to Thailand without a prior visa. But, they have to complete The Thailand Digital Arrival Card 3 days prior to their trip. That said, visa policies can change. Always verify the current status through official sources or the Thai Embassy website before you travel.
November to March is the best time to join a Thailand group tour from India. This time has clear skies, pleasant temperatures, and calm seas. If you're joining the Full Moon Party tour, departure dates are fixed around the Full Moon schedule, which happens monthly regardless of season. Avoid June to September if beach time is a priority, as this falls in the monsoon window.
Absolutely. Most people who join JustWravel's Thailand group tours are solo travelers. The fixed group format actually works best for solos. You land with a built-in crew, a trip leader to sort the logistics, and a group that tends to bond fast. Twin-sharing accommodation is standard; single supplements may apply if you prefer a private room.
The Full Moon Party is a monthly all-night beach party held at Haad Rin beach on Koh Phangan. It is one of the biggest and most amazing party events in Southeast Asia. JustWravel's Full Moon Party Group Tour is specifically timed around it, so yes, it is part of the trip. Entry and basic participation are covered; your spending at the party is a personal expense.
No. Flights from India to Bangkok (BKK) or Phuket (HKT) are not included in any JustWravel Thailand group tour package. You book your own flights, and the trip package takes care of everything from the airport once you land.
JustWravel keeps group sizes small enough to actually feel like a group, and not a crowd. The exact group size varies per departure, but the format is designed for an experience where everyone knows each other by day two.
Yes. Every JustWravel Thailand group tour comes with a dedicated trip leader who handles all ground logistics, be it transfers, check-ins, sightseeing coordination, and everything in between. You focus on the experience; the trip leader handles the rest.
Head to the individual package page, pick a departure date that works for you, and follow the booking steps. A partial advance payment secures your spot. If you have questions before booking, you can reach out to the JustWravel team directly through the website.
Description
Thailand is a place where every traveler can find their own vibe. It has Bangkok's chaotic energy, Phuket and Koh Phangan’s laid back life, and the clear waters of multiple islands. JustWravel's Thailand group tour packages are built around the experiences that make travelers want to come back. Fixed departure dates, a dedicated trip leader, and a group of like-minded travelers, and a lot of fun— that's the format, every time.
This is JustWravel's flagship Thailand offering and for good reason. The Full Moon Party Group Tour is a 6N/7D trip centred around the world-famous Full Moon Party at Koh Phangan. We have planned the itinerary in such a way that it has time for Bangkok city stops, island hopping, and Phuket's beaches. Departure dates are fixed around the monthly Full Moon schedule, so you're always there for the real thing. If you're a traveler looking to mix beach, culture, and one seriously unimaginable night, this is the one.

Thailand is genuinely one of the best value international destinations for travelers from India. It has good infrastructure, incredible food, and experiences that go well above their price point. Here's a straightforward look at what a JustWravel Thailand group tour will cost you, so you can figure out if it fits your budget before going any further.
Thailand Full Moon Party Group Tour (6N/7D): Starting from ₹57,000 per person (on twin sharing basis)
Note: Flights from India to Bangkok (BKK) or Phuket (HKT) are not included. Book your international flights separately.
*- depends on the package
Thailand's tropical climate means there's a big difference between a good trip and a rained-out one, depending purely on when you go. Here's a quick breakdown to help you plan.
This is the best time to visit Thailand, full stop. Skies are clear, humidity drops to a manageable level, and the Andaman Sea is calm enough for island hopping, snorkeling, and beach days that don't get washed out. Temperatures hover between 25–32°C, it is warm, but not punishing. If you want the classic Thailand experience and want to visit Phuket, Phi Phi, Koh Phangan, all of it, this is your time.
April and May are hot. Like, legitimately, standstill-in-the-sun hot. The temperatures can touch 38–40°C in parts of the country. That said, it's also when Songkran (Thailand's famous water festival) happens in mid-April, which turns every street into a city-wide water fight. If you're okay with the heat and want to experience something culturally unique, an April trip can be worth it. Beach destinations are still accessible, though not at their most comfortable. You can expect fewer crowds than peak season.
The southwest monsoon rolls in from June and sticks around through October. The west coast, which has Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi, receives the heaviest rain during this period, with rough seas that can disrupt island-hopping plans. The east coast (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan) holds up better through June and July before its own wetter months arrive in October and November. If you're flexible and going for a bargain, monsoon prices are significantly lower, but plan with the weather in mind, not against it.
If beaches and island hopping are the main reason you're going to Thailand, June to August is the season to avoid for the west coast. Phuket and Krabi see consistent heavy rainfall, and sea conditions can make boat transfers unsafe. Bangkok and Chiang Mai remain accessible, but the classic southern Thailand beach trip is best saved for October onwards when things begin to clear up.
Thailand has been one of the more straightforward destinations when it comes to visa requirements for Indian travelers.
As of now, India and Thailand have a visa exemption arrangement in place, meaning Indian passport holders can enter Thailand without a prior visa for short stays (typically up to 30 days, subject to the current policy at the time of travel). You land, you go through immigration, and that's it.
But, it is mandatory for every Indian to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online at least 3 days before your flight. This has replaced the old paper arrival forms. Submission is free of charge and must be done via the official Thai Immigration website.
Important: Visa policies can and do change. The information here is current at the time of writing but may have been updated since. Always check the official Thai Embassy website or consult with JustWravel's team for the latest status before you travel. Do not rely solely on this page for visa decisions.
While visa requirements may be relaxed, immigration at Thai airports does check documents. Make sure you have the following:
Carry both physical and digital copies of all documents. It makes everything smoother.
Thailand packs an enormous variety into a relatively compact country. Here are the key destinations that feature across JustWravel's Thailand group tours, and what you can expect from each one.
Bangkok is the kind of city that makes you forget you were tired. The capital holds two entirely different worlds in one place. In the morning, you'll be soaking in the serenity of Wat Pho, Wat Arun, the Grand Palace, and the Chao Phraya river at golden hour. And once the night takes over, the street food markets running until 3 AM, rooftop bars, and open skyline views shift your perspective and bring everything together. In a group tour context, Bangkok typically serves as either the entry or exit point, with guided city visits covering the major landmarks. It's a city best experienced on foot, with someone who knows where to go.
Thailand's largest island is the anchor destination for most Thailand group tours. Phuket comes with everything. It has Patong Beach's nightlife, long stretches of quieter shoreline, Bangla Road, and easy access to the surrounding islands. It's also the usual base for day trips to Phi Phi Island and Krabi. In a group tour, Phuket works well because everything is close, the transfers are smooth, and there's enough happening that people can split off and do their own thing without anyone getting lost.
Krabi is what most people picture when they think of "Thailand". People imagine limestone karsts rising straight out of the sea, longtail boats, and beaches that genuinely live up to the photos. Railay Beach is only accessible by boat, cut off from the rest by cliffs on all sides, which is what makes it stand apart from every other beach on the list. In our Thailand group tours, Krabi comes in as a day trip, paired with 7 island-hopping along the surrounding coastline.
The Phi Phi Islands sit between Phuket and Krabi and are worth every boat ride it takes to get there. A day out here covers snorkeling and sightseeing in open water, hidden lagoons, clean beaches, and spots that don't show up on the average tourist map. Phi Phi Don, the main island, has enough going on to keep you busy; the smaller islands around it are where things get quieter and the water gets clearer. It's the kind of day that becomes the one everyone talks about on the ride back.
Koh Phangan is primarily known for one thing: The Full Moon Party at Haad Rin beach. But the island is more than just that one night. By day, it's peaceful with it’s palm-fringed beaches, hammocks, good Thai food, and a quieter vibe than Phuket. The Full Moon Party transforms it monthly into something else entirely. JustWravel's Full Moon Party group tour is timed to land you on the island right before the party, giving you a proper feel for the place before the main event.
Chiang Mai operates in a completely different register from the beach towns of the south. It's temples, mountain air, night markets, elephant sanctuaries, and the pace of life actually relaxes you. Located in northern Thailand, Chiang Mai is ideal if you want the cultural counterpart to the island experience. While not always part of the same itinerary as the southern beach destinations, it's a key city in its own right and may feature in future JustWravel Thailand tour extensions.
Thailand group tours aren't for everyone and that's fine. They're designed for a specific kind of traveler.
You'll fit right in if you're a solo traveler who wants to explore Southeast Asia without figuring everything out alone. The group tour gives you company without taking away your freedom. You'll love it if you are someone looking for your first proper international trip, and even if you are a group of friends who want an affordable, exciting, and is easy to navigate international trip to Thailand with a trip leader by your side.
We know that planning takes a lot of time; deciding on the best flight deals, picking the right hotels, managing transfers, and putting together a whole itinerary from scratch. And that's where Thailand group tours come into play. If you've been putting off Thailand because the planning felt overwhelming, a fixed departure group tour takes all of that off your plate. You just show up.
The Full Moon Party tour specifically is a great fit for travelers who want a mix of beach, culture, and one legendary night out, all within a single structured trip. It's not a party package in the budget hostel sense, it's a well-organized group trip that happens to include one of the world's most famous parties.
If you're open to traveling with a small crew, okay with shared accommodation, and looking to make some good memories with people you hadn't met before, then Thailand with JustWravel is a solid bet.
There's no shortage of tour operators offering Thailand packages. Here's what's different about doing it with JustWravel.
