FAQ
JustWravel currently offers the Bali with Gili Island Group Tour, which is a 7N/8D fixed departure package covering Ubud, Nusa Penida, Gili Trawangan, Uluwatu, and Kuta. It's a well-rounded trip that covers cultural Bali, island landscapes, underwater experiences, and beach life. All of this in one go.
Bali group tour packages from India with JustWravel start from ₹57,000 per person. The price covers accommodation with daily breakfast, meals as per the itinerary, all local transport, airport transfers, sightseeing, included activities, and a dedicated trip leader.
NOTE: International flights are not included and need to be booked separately.
Yes. Indian passport holders require a Visa on Arrival (VOA) to enter Bali. The visa costs approximately around ₹2,600 and allows a stay of up to 30 days, extendable once for another 30 days. You can get it at the airport on arrival or apply for an e-VOA online before you fly.
April to October is generally the best time to visit Bali because of the dry season. It brings clear skies, calm seas, and good conditions for island hopping and outdoor activities. JustWravel's Bali group tour departures are scheduled through the year, but the April to October window gives you the most reliable weather for the full experience, especially for Nusa Penida and Gili Trawangan.
Absolutely. A large number of JustWravel's Bali group tour travelers are solo. The fixed group format is actually one of the best ways to travel solo internationally. You have company from day one, a trip leader handling all logistics, and a group that tends to come together fast. Twin-sharing accommodation is standard; single supplements may apply if you'd prefer your own room.
The package includes accommodation with daily breakfast, an ATV jungle ride in Ubud, the Bali Swing experience, a Nusa Penida west coast tour, speedboat transfers, a snorkeling trip at three Gili spots, Cidomo rides on Gili Trawangan, the Kecak Fire Dance at Uluwatu, local transport, and a dedicated trip leader. A full inclusions and exclusions list is available on the Bali Gili Group Tour package page.
No. Flights from India to Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) and vice versa are not included. You book your own flights, and the trip takes care of everything on the ground once you land.
JustWravel keeps group sizes intentionally small, the format is built for a close-knit group experience rather than a large coach tour. The exact batch size varies by departure, but you're typically traveling with a small group of people who are all there for similar reasons.
Yes. Every JustWravel Bali fixed departure trip includes a dedicated trip leader who manages all ground logistics throughout the trip. It covers transfers, check-ins, activity coordination, and day-to-day planning. You focus on the experience; the trip leader handles the rest.
Head to Bali Gili Island Group Tour page, pick a departure date that fits your schedule, and follow the booking steps. A partial advance secures your spot. If you have questions before booking, the JustWravel team is reachable directly through the website.
Description
Bali is popularly known as a honeymoon destination and the landscapes make it easy to see why. But that's just one side of it. Bali has many layers, it has temples, rice terraces, clifftop fire dances, and islands you didn't know existed until you're on a boat heading there.
JustWravel's Bali group tour packages are built to cover that full range, on fixed departure dates, with a trip leader managing everything so you can actually be present for it.
This is JustWravel's flagship Bali offering, and it covers a lot in just eight days. Starting in Ubud with a jungle ATV ride and the Bali Swing, the trip moves through the vast coastlines of Nusa Penida, across to the car-free shores of Gili Trawangan for snorkeling and beach time. It wraps up in Uluwatu with the Kecak Fire Dance at sunset. Fixed departure dates, small groups, and a dedicated trip leader throughout: that's the format every time.

This is JustWravel's way of showing the more grounded side of Bali. It is slower, closer, and a lot more real. Starting with the adventurous Kintamani volcano tour, the trip moves through the vast coastlines of Nusa Penida, settles into the cultural buzz of Kuta, and wraps up on the same high note with water sports at Benoa Beach. A full leisure day is there in between with no plans, and no itinerary, so that you can move and explore at your own pace.

Bali is one of the most preferred destinations of Bali and has the right as well. It's an international trip that doesn't need an international-sized budget. Here's a look at what a JustWravel Bali group tour costs, so you can figure out if it fits before clicking further.
Note: Flights from India to Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) are not included. Book your international flights separately.
What Is Included
What Is Not Included
Bali's tropical climate means the timing of your trip genuinely matters, especially if islands and beaches are on the agenda. Here's a season-by-season breakdown.
This is the window most travelers aim for. The dry season brings consistently clear skies, lower humidity, and calm seas that make island hopping to Nusa Penida and Gili Trawangan far more enjoyable. Temperatures sit between 26–32°C, warm without being overwhelming. Underwater visibility is at its best during these months, which makes the snorkeling at Gili particularly worth it. JustWravel's most popular Bali with Gili Island tour departures fall in this window, and it's easy to see why.
June, July, and August sit within the dry season but also happen to be peak travel months for international tourists, which means more crowds at popular spots like Kelingking Beach and the Bali Swing. Flight and accommodation prices are higher during this period. But the weather is reliably good, the seas are calm, and if you book early enough, it's still one of the best times to go. For group tours specifically, this is a busy period; departures fill up faster, so book in advance.
The wet season in Bali doesn't mean non-stop rain, it means short, heavy showers in the afternoons, with mornings often remaining clear. Ubud and inland Bali hold up reasonably well through this period. The bigger concern is the sea. Nusa Penida and Gili Trawangan involve open-water boat crossings, and rougher conditions between November and March can disrupt those transfers. It's still possible to have a good trip, but knowing the weather can affect the island portions of the itinerary.
If Nusa Penida's clifftop beaches and Gili's snorkeling spots are the main draw, December and January are the months to avoid. This is the heart of Bali's wet season. The rainfall is at its heaviest, sea conditions are the roughest, and boat transfers to the outer islands can get cancelled or delayed. Ubud remains accessible, but the full Bali with Gili Island experience is best saved for the dry season months when the weather actually cooperates.
Bali is not visa-free for Indian passport holders. But the process is simple enough that it shouldn't put you off.
Indian passport holders require a Visa on Arrival (VOA) to enter Bali. The visa costs approximately around ₹2,600 and is valid for 30 days, with a one-time extension option for another 30 days available at a local immigration office.
You have two ways to get it. First, pick up the VOA at the Visa on Arrival counter at Ngurah Rai International Airport on arrival, or apply for the e-VOA online before your trip through the official Indonesian immigration portal. The e-VOA is the smarter move, it saves time at the airport and some airlines may require proof of a visa before boarding, so having it sorted in advance avoids any check-in complications.
In addition to the visa, Bali charges a Tourist Levy of ~USD 10 per person, payable once per trip either online before arrival or on arrival. A digital All-Indonesia Arrival Card is also mandatory, submit it online within 72 hours before your flight and show the QR code at immigration.
Important: Visa fees and entry requirements can change. Always verify the current status through the official Indonesian immigration website or consult with the JustWravel team before you travel.
Carry both physical and digital copies of all documents. Immigration at Bali airport can be busy, having everything ready speeds things up considerably.
Bali has a variety of different, popular and amazing destinations packed into one island, and the surrounding islands only add to it. Here are the key destinations covered in JustWravel's Bali with Gili Islands group tour.
Ubud is where most people realise that Bali is more than just beaches. It's rice terraces, traditional craft lanes, jungle trails, and a pace of life that feels different from the beach towns down south. The JustWravel Bali group tour starts here with an ATV ride through jungle and rice fields that starts the trip with high energy. The Bali Swing gives you that classic aerial jungle shot, and Cretya Ubud's multi-level infinity pools make for a good way to wind down the day.
Nusa Penida is a short boat ride from Bali's east coast and a completely different experience from the main island. The west coast, where the group tour focuses, has some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in Southeast Asia. Kelingking Beach's cliff formation, the natural arch of Broken Beach, the rock pools at Angel's Billabong, and the calmer waters of Crystal Bay all sit within reach of each other. It's a full day on an island. Here, every viewpoint is worth the effort.
Gili Trawangan is the largest of the three Gili Islands and the liveliest. It has no cars, no motorbikes, just bicycles, horse-drawn Cidomo carts, and a long stretch of beach facing a clear sea. The snorkeling here is among the best in Indonesia. By day it's relaxed, and by evening, the beach bars come alive. It's the kind of place where people who planned to stay two days end up extending their trip.
Uluwatu sits at the southern tip of Bali, built on limestone cliffs above the Indian Ocean. The 11th-century temple is one of Bali's most important sea temples, and the setting alone makes it worth the visit. The views from the clifftop are hard to match anywhere on the island. The Kecak Fire Dance performed here at sunset is a proper cultural experience. Male dancers in concentric circles, rhythmic chanting, scenes from the Ramayana, and the sun going down over the water behind them. It's a strong way to close out a trip.
Kuta is Bali's most well-known beach town. It is busy, commercial, and unapologetically touristy, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The beach is long and open, the surf is reliable, and the strip has everything from street food stalls to rooftop restaurants. In the context of the group tour, Kuta serves as the base for the Uluwatu evening and the final stretch of the trip before departure. It's not the most serene part of Bali, but it's a good energy to close out with, especially after the quieter pace of Nusa Penida and Gili.
Bali group tours work best if you resonate with one of the following kind of travelers:
You'll enjoy it most if you're a solo traveler looking for your first international trip or first solo experience outside India. The group format takes away the anxiety of navigating a foreign country alone while still giving you the freedom to move at your own pace within the itinerary. You'll find your people fast because most JustWravel groups bond within the first day.
It's also a strong fit for couples and friend groups. Bali naturally brings people together, the experiences are shared, the age bracket tends to be similar, and the group dynamic builds quickly.
If the planning has been the thing holding you back, figuring out ferry timings, sorting speedboat transfers to Gili, deciding which parts of Ubud are worth your time, a fixed departure group tour removes all of that.
The Bali with Gili Island tour specifically suits travelers who want a mix of culture, adventure, and beach in one trip rather than a single-focus holiday. It's not a party-first trip, and it's not a slow travel itinerary either; it's a well-paced eight days that covers real ground.
If you're after a private itinerary built entirely around your preferences, a fixed group departure isn't the right format. But if you're comfortable with a small crew, shared accommodation, and a schedule that's been put together with some thought, then the Bali Customized Tour Packages with JustWravel is a trip that will deliver.
There's no shortage of operators running Bali packages from India. Here's what makes the JustWravel format worth paying attention to.
