The country has been hit with a second time lockdown due to the reason that we’ve been hit hard by the second wave of Covid-19.

We’re doing all we can as a country and individually, the situation will soon be under control as predicted. Now, as the lockdown starts to open up, you might already be confused about what new rules to follow? Don’t you. Well! We have come up with the updates one’s right here.

Uttarakhand (Dehradun)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 9th
Inter-State Movement: Allowed
Test Required: RT-PCR (Test conducted within 72 Hours)
Additional Requirement: Registration required at https://dsclservices.org.in/apply.php, prior to their travel.

Himachal Pradesh(Shimla)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 7th
Inter-State Movement: Allowed with 50% capacity
Test Required: RT-PCR (Test conducted within 72 Hours) (Only for Delhi, Punjab, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan)
Additional Requirement: Not applicable

Rajasthan (Jaipur)

Lockdown Status: Section 144 in Rajasthan till June 21st
Inter-State Movement: Allowed
Test Required: RT-PCR (Test conducted within 72 Hours)
Additional Requirement: For travelling to Udaipur, one has to upload RT-PCR negative test on http://emitra.rajasthan.gov.in

Meghalaya (Shillong)

Lockdown Status: Lockdown in East Khasi Hills till June 7th
Inter-State Movement: Not applicable
Test Required: RT-PCR (Test conducted within 48 Hours)
Additional Requirement: Register on the Meghalaya Covid-19 Testing website before arrival.

Tamil Nadu (Chennai)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 7th
Inter-State Movement: Inter-district and inter-state allowed for medical emergencies and funerals with e-pass only.
Test Required: RT-PCR (Test conducted within 72 Hours) (Only for individuals coming from Maharashtra and Kerala)
Additional Requirement: Register on the State website and get a TN e-pass.

Andhra Pradesh (Amaravati)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 10
Inter-State Movement: Allowed
Test Required: Thermal Screening on Arrival
Additional Requirement: Registration required on www.spandana.ap.gov.in

Bihar (Patna)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 8
Inter-State Movement: Allowed
Test Required: RT-PCR (Test conducted within 72 Hours)(Only for individuals coming from Maharashtra, Kerala and Punjab)
Additional Requirement: Not Applicable

Arunachal Pradesh (Itanagar)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 7th (Only for Itanagar capital region, Tawang, Lower Subansiri, Namsai, Upper Subansiri, Lohit, and Anjaw districts)
Inter-State Movement: Allowed
Test Required: RT-PCR (Test conducted within 72 Hours)
Additional Requirement: Not Applicable

Punjab (Chandigarh)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 10th
Inter-State Movement: Allowed
Test Required: RT-PCR (Test conducted within 72 Hours) or Dose 1 Vaccination Certificate
Additional Requirement: Not Applicable

West Bengal (Kolkata)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 15
Inter-State Movement: Allowed
Test Required: RT-PCR (Test conducted within 72 Hours)
Additional Requirement: Submit a declaration form using H&FW Department App.

Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 7 (Meerut, Lucknow, Saharanpur, Varanasi, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Muzaffarnagar, Bareilly, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Bulandshahr, Jhansi, Prayagraj, Lakhimpur-Khiri, Sonbhadra, Jaunpur, Baghpat, Moradabad, Ghazipur, Bijnor and Deoria)
Inter-State Movement: Allowed
Test Required: RT-PCR (Test conducted within 72 Hours) (Only for individuals coming from Maharashtra and Kerala)
Additional Requirement: There will be 14 days of quarantine for all passengers.

Tripura (Agartala)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 5th
Inter-State Movement: Suspended Currently
Test Required: RT-PCR (Test conducted within 72 Hours)
Additional Requirement: Not Applicable

Telangana (Hyderabad)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 9th
Inter-State Movement: All inter-state bus and transport services, both private and public, have been suspended.
Test Required: Thermal screening required
Additional Requirement: Not applicable

Odisha (Bhubaneshwar)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 17th
Inter-State Movement: Allowed with e-pass
Test Required: RT-PCR/RAT (Test conducted within 72 Hours) or Covid Vaccination Final Certificate (After Second Dose)
Additional Requirement: Not Applicable

Nagaland (Kohima)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 11th
Inter-State Movement: Allowed with E-pass registration
Test Required: RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT (Test conducted within 72 Hours) or Covid Vaccination Final Certificate (After Second Dose)
Additional Requirement: Not Applicable

Mizoram (Aizawl)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 7th
Inter-State Movement: Allowed
Test Required: Mandatory Rapid Antigen Test upon arrival.
Additional Requirement: Obtain m-Pass from mcovid19.mizoram.gov.in and for travelling to Mizoram you need to isolate for 7 days regardless of any negative test that you have.

Manipur (Imphal)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 11th (Imphal West, Imphal East, Kakching, Thoubal, Bishnupur, Churachandpur and Ukhrul districts)
Inter-State Movement: Allowed
Test Required: RT-PCR/TRUENAT/CB-NAAT/RAT (Test conducted within 72 Hours)
Additional Requirement: Not Applicable

Maharashtra (Mumbai)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 15th
Inter-State Movement: Allowed
Test Required: RT-PCR (Test conducted within 72 Hours) (Only for NCR/Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Goa and Rajasthan)
Additional Requirement: Home quarantine for 15 days after arrival.

Madhya Pradesh (Bhopal)

Lockdown Status: Not applicable
Inter-State Movement: Allowed
Test Required: Individuals visiting Indore or Bhopal from Maharashtra need a negative RT-PCR (Test conducted within 72 Hours)
Additional Requirement: Self-isolation for Individuals coming from Maharashtra until their RT-PCR reports are received.

Madhya Pradesh (Bhopal)

Lockdown Status: Not applicable
Inter-State Movement: Allowed
Test Required: Passengers arriving in Indore or Bhopal from Maharashtra need to carry a negative RT-PCR report, not older than 48 hours.
Additional Requirement: There will be self-isolation for passengers from Maharashtra until their RT-PCR reports are received.

Kerala (Thiruvananthapuram)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 9th
Inter-State Movement: Allowed for emergencies and essential goods only
Test Required: Interstate travellers (even if vaccinated) are required to carry a negative RT-PCR report (Test conducted within 72 Hours)
Additional Requirement: Register on the Covid19 Jagratha portal.

Karnataka (Bangalore)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 14th
Inter-State Movement: Passenger carrying vehicles not allowed except in case of emergencies.
Test Required: RT-PCR (Test conducted within 72 Hours) (Only for Chandigarh, Punjab, Kerala and Maharashtra)
Additional Requirement: Not Applicable

Jharkhand (Ranchi)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 10th
Inter-State Movement: Allowed
Test Required: Not Applicable
Additional Requirement: Mandatory thermal screening will be conducted for all passengers arriving from Maharashtra, Kerala & Telangana. Additionally, E-pass is mandatory.

Haryana (Chandigarh)

Lockdown Status: Not Applicable
Inter-State Movement: Allowed
Test Required: Not necessary
Additional Requirement: Thermal screening will be done for all passengers upon arrival.

Gujarat (Gandhinagar)

Lockdown Status: Till June 4th
Inter-State Movement: Allowed
Test Required: RT-PCR (Test conducted within 72 Hours)
Additional Requirement: Submit Novel Corona Self Reporting Form and download the SMC Covid-19 Tracker app for travelling to Surat.

Goa (Panaji)

Lockdown Status: Extended till June 9th
Inter-State Movement: Allowed
Test Required: RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT (Test conducted within 72 Hours) or Covid Vaccination Final Certificate (After Second Dose)
