This capital city, perched at 5,410 feet, is a perfect introduction to Sikkim's peaceful charm. Known for its monasteries, mystic rituals, and vibrant local markets, Gangtok is a delightful mix of spirituality and modern life. In the evening, you can enjoy a stroll around the famous M.G. Marg or explore the local markets for some souvenirs.

On the second day, after a hearty breakfast, you will explore the iconic attractions around Gangtok. The highlight is a visit to Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake, a glacial lake situated at nearly 3,753 meters. Surrounded by snowy mountains, this lake stays frozen during the winter months and offers yak rides and breathtaking views. Nearby, you’ll visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a shrine dedicated to the Indian Army soldier Harbhajan Singh.
