Overview

Few places in the world are as diverse in their topography as Himachal Pradesh. With its river flowing through jagged rocks, rich green meadows, and serene lakes surrounded by mountains covered in thick layers of snow, resembling the seven skies above, it truly is like a little slice of heaven on earth. In the grasslands, many flora and fauna flourish in the shelter that the valleys have provided them and you can see many rare wild species like the snow leopard, Himalayan Yak, Musk deer, and many more living in peace in nature. Himachal is the kind of place that immediately lifts your spirits, all you have to do is just be there and breathe in the crisp air. Along with the serenity that it offers, it also provides tons of opportunities for adventure, no matter if they are beginners or experienced in seeking the thrill that these activities have to offer.

On this backpacking trip to Himachal from Delhi, we have handpicked some of the best locations in Himachal Pradesh that you must visit. This 7-day trip to Himachal covers all the desirable destinations that fascinate tourists and adventure enthusiasts alike. From one of the most popular hill stations of our country, Manali, to the small captivating village Kasol which is situated in the Kullu district, this trip is a perfect blend of popular tourist attractions and a peaceful getaway to undiscovered locations. Manali, popularly known as Lover’s Paradise has earned this reputation because of its beautiful views, cool climate, and tons of activities that it provides to people to keep things lively and fun. On this trip, we explore some of the best places to visit in Manali, where we take you on a sightseeing tour to Hadimba Temple, Vashisht Temple, Mall Road, and Cafe hopping in Old Manali to give you a glimpse of what life is like in this township. Our next stop, Solang Valley, is the hotspot for adventure lovers as it provides enthralling activities like paragliding, trekking, mountaineering, ATV Ride, Zipline, and even skiing if the season permits and so much more making it a must-visit for adrenaline junkies. After experiencing the highs of soaring through the sky, you’d be in desperate need of some calm which the small town of Kasol caters to perfectly. The growing popularity of this hill station is because of the plethora of experiences it offers including spiritual awakenings, which is why we’d make sure that you visit the Manikaran temple which is popular for many reasons, one of them being the co-existence of bitterly cold water with boiling water springs on either side of the Parvati river. Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib is also nearby and attracts many Hindu and Sikh devotees every year.

Our next stop, Jibhi, remains an offbeat stay in Himachal because it is yet to be touched and exploited by industrialization and has preserved its vegetation in the form of lush green valleys. It’s also popular for sparkling waterfalls and freshwater lakes which make this place perfect for spending some quality time with a partner or even yourself. It is almost impossible to visit Himachal and suppress the urge to see the view from the top of the summit which is why we organize exciting and easy treks to Jalori Pass & Sirosar Lake. This Manali backpacking trip is curated after keeping all your desires in mind and the trip will take you to some of the best places in Manali, Kasol, and Jibhi so that you can experience the rich culture and heritage of ‘Lands of Gods’ aka Himachal. Now that we have hopefully convinced you, we hope you get to learn all the reasons why you must visit this beautiful state on your own on this backpacking trip.

A poncho is an evolved form of a raincoat that provides coverage to your body as well as your bag and ensures total water protection from rain.

A good trekking shoe is comfortable, provides ankle support, and has a good grip as well. They shouldn’t be chunky, instead, they should be lightweight and sturdy.

Woolen Socks:

A good pair of woolen socks, especially merino, are comfortable, limit odors and provide adequate insulation from the cold so you can wear them at night.

What our Clients Say About Us

Thank you JustWravel for this wonderful stay & trip of MKJ (Manali Kasol Jibhi). Special thanks to Abhishek Sudan and Navneet for being the best guide for making this trip memorable!!

JustWravel Review by Sakshi Ojha

Planned my first solo trip through Just Wravel to MKJ (Manali Kasol Jibhi) during the Christmas holidays. I blindly trusted the itinerary shared by JW team and was not disappointed! The journey was well explained so that any safety concerns or issues were ironed out. Team Captains Abhishek Sudan and Navneet were alert and kept us motivated. They went out of their way to make the trip memorable, comfortable and make strangers become friends. The bonfires and christmas cake were bonuses. Thanks for the experience JustWravel! Positives: Trip was well organized, keeping in mind traffic, crowd and overall climate Hotels and home-stays were clean and good Trek at Jibhi, Pragliding, Activities at Solang etc. were highlights Good Team Captains - friendly, knowledgable and helpful Possible improvements: Better bus coordination so that those not doing certain activities can choose to go to the hotel or other areas Better restrooms / washroom amenities for females as the ones along the way or at stops were crowded and unhygenic Kasol stay could have been longer. We reached late evening to explore the market and surroundings Well insulated rooms and heaters provided for those not acclamatized to harsh winters (even with full clothing it was highly required)

I 20(F) and my sister 26(F) from Bangalore, went on a backpacking trip to Manali, Kasol and Jibhi with JusWravel in the last week of December 2022. I cannot lay enough emphasis on how much they have surpassed our expectations. Every minute detail of every event during the trip was well thought through and implemented. Beautiful rooms were booked, travel was smoothly take care of and food was planned out well (some spontaneous during cafe hopping). The basic necessities were seamlessly met by JusWravel. I'd like to point out that we got lucky with our two boisterous trip captains Abhishek Sudan and Navneet Yadav who were extremely enthusiastic throughout the trip and set a tremendously cheerful environment. They were even down to wake up at 6 in the morning to visit Hadimba temple and stay up till 1 in the night to party with the DJ on, and goof around Old Manali. From visiting temples, shopping, partying, to ziplining across Solang Valley mountains, Paragliding through Kullu skies, trekking through 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani's' Jalori pass, with my hands-down wonderful co-travellers (psst..Wravellers), JusWravel has helped me realise how travelling to divine places like these with the most beautiful people of all time can make you the HAPPIEST PERSON ALIVE! I can't wait for my next trip with JusWravel soon!

We had done a Himachal Backpacking trip to Manali Kasol and Jibhi with JustWravel. We are from Tamilnadu and this is our first trip to North. We doubted that how this trip would be, but we had a wonderful time. Special thanks to our trip guide Tanjul, who is the reason for such a memorable trip in my life. I liked below in this trip. 1. Communication about the trip and process was to the point and team was easily approachable. 2. All the itineraries promised were fulfilled throughout the trip. 3. Local sightseeing was very good in a way that our trip lead make us try all the local food and do shopping the local market. 4. Trip lead Tanjul was so punctual about the trip timings and she explained the itinerary very brief and politely enforced us to follow the timings. Justravel is highly recommended for any trips and looking forwarded to do more trips with them in future.

I was part of the Manali Kasol and Jibhi backpacking trip. Awesome trip well organised. I have traveled with many different groups and companies. But this is the best out of them. Team leader Tanjul made everything beautiful. Such a beautiful soul she is. Very knowledgeable and kind. I would like to share one example, we bargain with a fruit vendor in Jibbhi and without telling us Tanjul paid 20 Rs to the vendor to make both happy. So that they will not face loss. Very organized trip. Waiting for next trip.

I recently went to Winter Spiti Valley trip with JustWravel which ended up being more as a trip with best friends. JustWravel had everything sorted for us be it transportation, safety, constant checkups, personalised care , accommodation, food and everything was super comfortable and amazing. Then it comes to the best part of this trip our trip captains - Abhishek and Ramneek He treated us like their own brother from day one and made sure all of us are having the time of our lives. They had constant checkups to ensure all of us are doing great physically. They had good knowledge about the place and shared the same with us as well. I would surely plan my next trip with JustWravel. I would like to mention an instance: I forgot my bag in the Volvo bus and there was nothing important in that bag but our captains still went out of their way to ensure that I got my bag safely.
