Is Malaysia a honeymoon destination? But it doesn't give the vibe. That's because you don't know the perfect destination which can actually bring out the magic of the destination. Yes, this Kuala Lumpur Langkawi package is the perfect package for our honeymooners, couples and even for families who want to experience the two sides of city adventure and bliss of the sea in one trip.
The trip begins with your arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, where our representative will be waiting to transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure, you may head to Georgetown, which is a UNESCO World Heritage street, , or simply rest and save energy for the days ahead.
Day 2 is the Kuala Lumpur city tour. It starts at the KL Tower, where the observation deck sits at 1,381 feet and gives you a clear, unobstructed view of the entire city. You can see the famous Petronas Twin Towers from here.
From there, the tour moves through the historical heart of Kuala Lumpur: Merdeka Square. This is the place where Malaysia declared its independence in 1957.
Then, have a look at Masjid Negara, the National Mosque of Malaysia, which is famous for it’s simple structure, beautiful and wide lawns and not the usual Islamic architecture.
Afterwards, it’s time for something regal. Stop at Istana Negara, the King's official residence, for a photo stop at the arched entrance. To understand the country’s history, visit Tugu Negara, the National Monument, which commemorates the soldiers who gave their lives for the nation.
Afterwards, go towards The Sultan Abdul Samad Building, which is the favorite spot for the tourists. The Moorish architecture here always steals the show.
Finally after all the sightseeing, its time to make one’s soul happy by being at Beryl's Chocolate Kingdom. It is the sweetest stop of the day, where you can taste and pack some of Malaysia's most loved chocolates. This day covers the history, culture and soul of Kuala Lumpur in one go.
Day 3 takes you out of the city. The first stop is Batu Caves, which is home to one of the tallest hindu deities outside India. The statue is of Lord Murugan. After paying your respects there, follow 272 colourful steps to a natural limestone temple cave that has been a site of Hindu worship for over 100 years.
From there, the tour heads up to Genting Highlands. It sits at 5,900 ft above sea level. The Awana SkyWay cable car takes you to the summit in about 20 minutes, over dense tropical rainforest. At the top, Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park, Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park, shopping and dining are all waiting. For families, this is the day that everyone talks about long after the trip is over.
Day 4 is yours. This day is for leisure. There are no plans, and no schedules. Use it to explore the streets of Kuala Lumpur, pick up souvenirs from Petaling Street, or spend the afternoon trying Malaysian street food.
Nasi Lemak (coconut rice served with sambal), anchovies and boiled egg is a must try when you are in Malaysia. So is Satay, grilled skewers served with peanut sauce. Kuala Lumpur's food ranges from street stalls to Michelin-starred restaurants, and this is the day to explore it properly.
Then comes the moment this Kuala Lumpur Langkawi package is named for. Day 5, you fly to Langkawi, known as the ‘Jewel of Kedah’, and is literally the jewel of Malaysia. With 104 islands in its archipelago at low tide, Langkawi lives up to every part of that name.
The Langkawi city tour covers the Atma Alam Batik Art Village in Padang Matsirat, where you can see traditional batik printing up close. Then Eagle Square( Dataran Lang) in Kuah Town, home to the 12-metre eagle statue that has become the symbol of Langkawi. Then, you have to get some souvenirs and gifts from Langkawi and for that go for duty-free shopping in Kuah Town. Langkawi's tax-free status makes this a genuine highlight for shoppers.
Then, visit Gamat factory to see how sea cucmbers are used in making oils and balms. The locals use them for medicinal purposes against itch, rash and skin senstivity. Afterwards, proceed to Maha tower, for a photo stop. The architecture of Maha tower is something to adore. It is regal, perfectly made and is the entertainment hub of Langkawi.
And finally conclude the Langkawi city tour with a visit to the Underwater World Langkawi in Pantai Cenang. It is one of Southeast Asia's largest marine and freshwater aquariums, complete with a 15-metre walk-through underwater tunnel.
The last day is your departure. A trip that started with the city skyline of Kuala Lumpur ends with the island calm of Langkawi and that contrast is exactly what makes this customized Malaysia tour package one of the most complete experiences you can have in one trip.

Yes, the Kuala Lumpur Langkawi package is one of the most popular Malaysia tour packages from India for honeymooners. Kuala Lumpur brings the city energy, it has rooftop dinners, a dramatic skyline and great hotels. Langkawi brings calm, it has beaches, island air and a slower pace. Together, they give couples two very different but equally memorable experiences in one trip.
Yes. This package is well-suited as a Malaysia family package. The Genting Highlands day with the cable car and theme parks, the Batu Caves visit and Underwater World Langkawi are all strong favourites with families and younger travelers. The leisure day in Kuala Lumpur also gives families the flexibility to plan at their own pace. And the Eagle square in Langkawi is a favorite among children.
This is a 7 days itinerary, which covers the Kuala Lumpur tour in 4 days in Kuala Lumpur and 2 days in Langkawi including the city tour and departure. It is designed to give you a proper feel of both destinations without rushing through either.
Langkawi is an archipelago of 104 islands off the northwest coast of Malaysia, also known as the Jewel of Kedah. It is known for its beaches, clear waters, duty-free shopping, rainforest cable cars and a pace of life that is completely different from the mainland. Adding Langkawi to a Kuala Lumpur itinerary gives the trip a natural balance of city, island, adventure and calm.
Yes. Langkawi has duty-free status, which means alcohol, chocolates, perfumes, tobacco and a range of souvenirs are available at significantly lower prices than on the Malaysian mainland. Shopping in Kuah Town and at Langkawi International Airport are both popular with travelers.
The best time is between November and March, when Langkawi experiences its dry season and the weather on the island is at its most pleasant. Kuala Lumpur is a year-round destination. For Indian travelers, this period also aligns well with school holidays and the winter travel season, making it a popular window for Malaysia tour packages from India.
This is a customized Malaysia tour package. The itinerary can be adjusted based on your group size, travel dates, hotel preferences and budget. No matter how you travel, be it traveling as a couple, a family or a group of friends, the package can be tailored to suit your needs.
Kuala Lumpur has a serious food culture. Try Nasi Lemak, which is a coconut rice served with sambal, anchovies, peanuts and a boiled egg. It is Malaysia's national dish. Try Satay, grilled meat skewers served with peanut sauce. For something more indulgent, Kuala Lumpur has a strong Michelin-recognised restaurant scene alongside its street food. Petaling Street and Jalan Alor are the two best areas to start.
The Awana SkyWay cable car tickets for both ways are included in the Genting Highlands tour. Entrance fees to specific attractions within the resort, such as Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park or Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park, are not included and are purchased separately at the venue.
This itinerary is already structured efficiently. It has private transfers, a seat-in-coach option for the Genting Highlands day, and a dedicated leisure day that lets you control your own spending. To keep it within a Malaysia budget tour, opt for street food on the leisure day over restaurants, skip paid attractions at Genting that don't interest you, and use the duty-free shopping in Langkawi for souvenirs and gifts rather than buying on the mainland.
