We start our 2 nights 3 days Chikmagalur Tour from the city of Mangalore, which is the main port city of Karnataka located on the Arabian sea. We’ll be heading off to Chikmagalur, a city located on the foothills of Mullayanagiri peak of the Western ghats. The city is famous for its coffee plantations, lush green tropical rainforests and pleasant climate throughout the year. There are some exotic options to stay amidst the mountains of Western Ghats, where you can take hikes and enjoy the best of sunrise and sunset. You can see a wide variety of flora and fauna all around you as the Western Ghats come under UNESCO Biosphere reserve.
