We start our trip from Manali, which is a resort town lying in the Beas River Valley and it was once an ancient trade route to Ladakh. Manali now has a new image now, it is one of the best holiday destinations to travel in India, whether it be for families, couples or groups of friends.
From Manali, we head off to Kaza, which is the gateway to Hikkim which houses the highest Post Office in the world, and you may send a letter to a dear one from there if you like. You should also stop at the Key monastery which is at 12 km from Kaza. Along with its historical importance, the Tibetan monastery provides a panoramic view. At Langza, get ready to be awed at the massive Golden Buddha statue which overlooks Langza. Komic, is one of the highest motorable villages in the world, which makes it one of a kind location.
Other notable locations include Tabo, which houses a 1000 years old monastery, declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Gue Village brings back the memories of the Hollywood movie “The Mummy” as Gue has a real life remains of a mummy which dates back to 500 years.
Nako is a small village near the border of India and Tibet. The place is famous for its lake and 1000 years old Monastery. You can experience calm and serene surroundings at this place.
Chandratal lake is one of the most beautiful high altitude saline lakes in the world at an altitude of 4300 mts. Credit Note :
The Booking Amount will be credited to your JW Profile which can be accessed by logging in to the website through your Email ID. Credit Notes issued have no date of expiry and can be used entirely in any of your future trips.

Any GST charged on any transaction will not be refunded.
Pending Refund :
Any refund pending on your booking will be credited to the same mode of payment through which you paid in 5-7 working days.
Partial Refund :
Any case in which a partial refund will be issued will be calculated after deducting the Booking Amount and Cancellation Charges depending on the time of Cancellation.
Remaining Amount :
Will be calculated on the amount paid over and above the booking amount.
Bypass Policy :
Any and all Cancellation Policies are superseded by the Emergency Case Cancellation Policy in case of situations such as war, pandemics, force majeure, or similar extraordinary events affecting the tour region.

Ideal months to visit Spiti valley (from May to October). It is the peak season, you can visit monasteries and villages. It is the best time for sightseeing. Moreover in the winter season Spiti transforms into a winter wonderland. Winter season in Spiti valley starts from October to March. It is the best month for snow lovers.
Yes, it is possible to cover Ladakh and Spiti valley together. It requires a good number of days with careful planning. For covering both the locations at least 12-15 days will be needed for a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
If you want stunning high altitude lakes, and more developed routes then Ladakh is a perfect choice. If you prefer offbeat destinations, rugged terrains and raw beauty, take an escape to Spiti. Both the places offer beautiful landscapes and breathtaking views. Spiti is more remote and authentic while Ladakh has diverse roads that are more developed.
Sumdo border in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh is the gateway to Spiti valley, from where Spiti valley begins. The distance between Manali and Sumdo is approx. 415 kms.
