Overview

Char Dham Yatra is considered to be one of the most important tours among the Hindu community. This is why it is considered that every person belonging to the Hindu religion must Visit Char Dham once in their life.

While the real Char Dhams in India are Badrinath, Dwaraka, Puri, and Rameswaram, there's another way in which you can go for a Char Dham Yatra and earn your heavenly blessings without having to travel so much.

Yes! If you've ever been to the Uttrakhand or have a religious inclination, then you must know about the 'Chota Char Dham' or the 'Char Dham Uttrakhand'.

This another type of Char Dham Yatra is more popular and consists of four locations which are a must-visit on every Indian traveler's wishlist. The Char Dham Yatra places are Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri, and Gangotri.

This whole section of four important pilgrimage sites falls in the Garhwal region of the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand.

If you're a devotee or just a normal traveler who wants to get a touch of Indian culture, this Char Dham Yatra Package is exactly what you need.

The essence of a culture can only be observed when we're standing close to what it actually is and this trip is one of the best ways to get to know India from its core.

Now, the four pilgrimage spots are all completely different and are devoted to different gods.

The Yamunotri is dedicated to the Goddess Yamuna who travels along with the pilgrims to the higher reaches of the Rawai Valley. According to the legends, a bath in the waters of the Yamuna protects the devotee from untimely death.

Gangotri is dedicated to the Goddess Ganga, the holy shrine overlooking the Bhagirathi river, another name of River Ganga.

The northernmost Jyotirlinga, Kedarnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva and forms a part of the Panch Kedar.

Situated on the bank of the River Alaknanda, Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.  According to legend, Lord Vishnu meditated here while his consort Lakshmi took the form of a berry (Badri) tree to offer him shade.

The best time to visit Char Dham would be from the months of mid-May to July and September to October. You can also go to Char Dham by Helicopter if you are short on time or want a different kind of experience.
