Overview

Uttarakhand is blessed with raw natural beauty and also places that are perfect for a family getaway. Uttarakhand has many mountain peaks, lush green forests which have many hiking and trekking trails for you to indulge in and be closer to nature.

This 6 nights and 7 days Uttarakhand Tour covering places- Nainital, Corbett, Ranikhet and Mussoorie starts from Dehradun. From Dehradun, we make our way to Nainital. Nainital is one of the most popular hill stations in the state of Uttarakhand and in India. Situated in Kumaon foothills of the Outer Himalayas, Nainital has an altitude of around 2,000mts. The most unique thing about Nainital is that it is situated in a valley which has an eye shaped lake, hence the name “Nainital”.

You can go for a cable car ride which runs from Mallital to snow view point. The most amazing thing about this cable car ride is that it offers you a panoramic view of all the peaks of Nainital and also of Naini Lake. You can also go for a trek to Tiffin top which is around 4 kms from the heart of Nainital. The sunrise views here are just mesmerizing and a definite not to miss. Go for Cheena or Naina peak if you want to witness the view of Nainital from the highest vantage point flanked by  deodar trees and various types of rhododendrons. Other famous spots include Khurpatal Lake, Sariyatal and Kilbury which is a nice outing spot.

Ranikhet is a hill station which is located in the Almora district of Uttarakhand. It is one of the offbeat places, surrounded by beautiful gardens and vibrant flowers. The place has an old world charm to it, life runs at its own pace here and you will get to see many old villas and churches here. While here you can visit some of the most beautiful apple orchards and gardens. Visit Kumaon Regimental centre, which is a museum dedicated to the army battalion here. Before heading back to your stay, visit Rani Jheel which is an artificial man made lake here.

Jim Corbett National Park is a delight for nature lovers as it has around 500 sq kms of forests, rivers, marshy lands, hills and rough terrains. It is home to a large number of animal species which includes tigers, leopards, black bear, mongoose, moose and otters. While here, you can go for a jungle safari, which gives you a sneak peek into the lives of these wild animals in enthralling landscapes and forests.

Mussoorie is a famous hill station located in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan Range. Once you reach Mussoorie in the evening, head towards Mall Road, which is the city’s most famous place and the hub for the shopping and all the famous eateries. This Mussoorie tour package is wholesome package that covers most sought after places in Uttarakhand.

The next day can be spent in visiting some of the most famous places in Mussoorie, Kempty falls being one of those places. It is a waterfall surrounded by high green mountains with a 40 ft drop. You can either walk to the base of the waterfall or take a cable car for the same. A bridge is built near the base of the waterfall which provides the best view. Other places worth visiting include Bhatta falls, Mossy Falls, Mussoorie lake and Company Garden.

The best time to visit Uttarakhand is from March to June which is the spring/summer months in the region. You can also plan for winter months which are from late October to early February.

You must keep at least three pairs of quick dry tees so that you can wash them in between stops for proper hygiene.

Poncho.png

Poncho:

A poncho is an evolved form of a raincoat that provides coverage to your body as well as your bag and ensures total water protection from rain.

Bhutan... you beauty !!! My first travelling experience with JustWravel was great. Overall the Bhutan trip was wonderfully organized with interesting talk on the country and history. The itinerary was very well thought out, combining leisure time with other activities. Accommodations were good and the meals were decent as well. Also, met some great people on the trip. Our co-travelers were accommodating, helpful and thankfully had a great sense of humor. Special mention to Abhi, Trip Captain and Tashi, Tour guide for being so helpful and patient with us (specially me, during the hike). Kudos to the team. Keep doing great work and help people experience the joy of travelling.

I definitely look forward for more travel tours with them. You guys made our travel smooth and memorable.

I went on my first international trip through JustWravel to Maldives, and it was the amazing trip i ever had. Everything was so sorted that I just had to take care of my passport nothing else. Ankit (JustWravel) has helped me throughout the process and reminded me of all the necessary steps and documents to carry from 1 week before. Everything was well managed and they were very considerate. They kept checking in with us if we were having any issues and if we were back at home safely or not. Surely going to book next trip from JustWravel only 2) I went on leh Ladakh trip and it was my first trip with strangers. Everything was so organized and the people (especially the coordinator , captain and driver, hotel staff) were so great that I want to be with them again. It was just a fantastic experience which I will never be able to explain through words. But the team was focused on the motive that we should enjoy the trip and have good memories of it.

I recently went to Winter Spiti Valley trip with JustWravel which ended up being more as a trip with best friends. JustWravel had everything sorted for us be it transportation, safety, constant checkups, personalised care , accommodation, food and everything was super comfortable and amazing. Then it comes to the best part of this trip our trip captains - Abhishek and Ramneek He treated us like their own brother from day one and made sure all of us are having the time of our lives. They had constant checkups to ensure all of us are doing great physically. They had good knowledge about the place and shared the same with us as well. I would surely plan my next trip with JustWravel. I would like to mention an instance: I forgot my bag in the Volvo bus and there was nothing important in that bag but our captains still went out of their way to ensure that I got my bag safely.
