This 6 nights and 7 days Uttarakhand Tour covering places- Nainital, Corbett, Ranikhet and Mussoorie starts from Dehradun. From Dehradun, we make our way to Nainital. Nainital is one of the most popular hill stations in the state of Uttarakhand and in India. Situated in Kumaon foothills of the Outer Himalayas, Nainital has an altitude of around 2,000mts. The most unique thing about Nainital is that it is situated in a valley which has an eye shaped lake, hence the name “Nainital”.
You can go for a cable car ride which runs from Mallital to snow view point. The most amazing thing about this cable car ride is that it offers you a panoramic view of all the peaks of Nainital and also of Naini Lake. You can also go for a trek to Tiffin top which is around 4 kms from the heart of Nainital. The sunrise views here are just mesmerizing and a definite not to miss. Go for Cheena or Naina peak if you want to witness the view of Nainital from the highest vantage point flanked by deodar trees and various types of rhododendrons. Other famous spots include Khurpatal Lake, Sariyatal and Kilbury which is a nice outing spot.
Ranikhet is a hill station which is located in the Almora district of Uttarakhand. It is one of the offbeat places, surrounded by beautiful gardens and vibrant flowers. The place has an old world charm to it, life runs at its own pace here and you will get to see many old villas and churches here. While here you can visit some of the most beautiful apple orchards and gardens. Visit Kumaon Regimental centre, which is a museum dedicated to the army battalion here. Before heading back to your stay, visit Rani Jheel which is an artificial man made lake here.
Jim Corbett National Park is a delight for nature lovers as it has around 500 sq kms of forests, rivers, marshy lands, hills and rough terrains. It is home to a large number of animal species which includes tigers, leopards, black bear, mongoose, moose and otters. While here, you can go for a jungle safari, which gives you a sneak peek into the lives of these wild animals in enthralling landscapes and forests.
Mussoorie is a famous hill station located in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan Range. Once you reach Mussoorie in the evening, head towards Mall Road, which is the city’s most famous place and the hub for the shopping and all the famous eateries. This Mussoorie tour package is wholesome package that covers most sought after places in Uttarakhand.
The next day can be spent in visiting some of the most famous places in Mussoorie, Kempty falls being one of those places. It is a waterfall surrounded by high green mountains with a 40 ft drop.You can either walk to the base of the waterfall or take a cable car for the same. A bridge is built near the base of the waterfall which provides the best view. Other places worth visiting include Bhatta falls, Mossy Falls, Mussoorie lake and Company Garden.
