Rajasthan, India’s largest state by area, is a land of contrasts—desert plains and lush hills, royal palaces and spiritual sanctuaries, bustling cities and tranquil lakes. The 6N/7D Blissful Mount Abu Tour Package with Udaipur & Jodhpur offers a compact yet diverse itinerary that captures the essence of this vibrant region. Designed for travelers seeking a balanced mix of history, nature, and leisure, this Rajasthan tour package includes three distinct destinations: Jodhpur, Mount Abu, and Udaipur. Each location brings its own flavor to the journey, making this one of the most practical and well-rounded Rajasthan packages available.
The tour begins in Jodhpur, often referred to as the Blue City due to the vivid indigo hues of its old town buildings. Historically, Jodhpur was the capital of the Marwar kingdom and played a significant role in Rajput resistance against Mughal expansion. The city’s architecture reflects its martial past and royal legacy. Travelers start with a visit to Umaid Bhawan Palace, one of the last great palaces built in India before independence. Part museum and part royal residence, it offers insights into the lifestyle of the Jodhpur royals. The local markets in Jodhpur are also worth exploring, offering traditional textiles, silver jewelry, and local snacks.
The Jodhpur city tour includes several key attractions that highlight its historical and ecological significance. Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India, dominates the skyline and houses palatial courtyards, galleries, and a museum. Nearby, Jaswant Thada is a marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, offering a peaceful retreat. Ghanta Ghar, or the Clock Tower, is a central landmark surrounded by lively bazaars. Mandore Garden, once the capital of Marwar, features cenotaphs and temples set in landscaped grounds. Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park, located near the fort, showcases native desert vegetation and geology, adding an ecological dimension to the itinerary.
From Jodhpur, the tour moves to Mount Abu, Rajasthan’s only hill station. Nestled in the Aravalli Range, Mount Abu offers a refreshing contrast to the desert cities. Historically, it served as a summer retreat for Rajput kings and British officers. The drive to Mount Abu is scenic, and upon arrival, travelers can unwind and enjoy the cooler climate. Sunset Point is a popular spot for evening views, offering panoramic vistas of the surrounding hills. Mount Abu’s city tour includes a mix of historical, spiritual, and natural attractions. Achalgarh Fort, built by Rana Kumbha in the 14th century, offers views and ruins that speak to the region’s past. Peace Park, maintained by the Brahma Kumaris, provides a tranquil space for reflection. Mirpur Temple is an ancient Jain temple known for its architecture. Nakki Lake, surrounded by hills and legends, is ideal for boating and leisure. Toad Rock, a natural formation resembling a toad, is a quirky photo spot. The Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary adds a nature-focused experience, with opportunities to spot leopards, sloth bears, and over 250 bird species.
Before leaving Mount Abu, the itinerary includes a visit to the Dilwara Jain Temples, renowned for their intricate marble carvings and spiritual significance. These temples are considered among the finest Jain architecture in India. The nearby Lal Mandir is also included for those interested in religious sites. From here, the tour proceeds to Udaipur, often called the City of Lakes. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559, Udaipur was established as the new capital of Mewar after the fall of Chittorgarh. Surrounded by lakes and hills, Udaipur is known for its romantic ambiance and architectural beauty. Upon arrival in Udaipur, travelers can relax and explore Fateh Sagar Lake in the evening. The local markets offer a variety of handicrafts, including miniature paintings, pottery, and embroidered textiles. The Udaipur city tour includes several major attractions that showcase its royal heritage. City Palace is a sprawling complex of palaces, museums, and courtyards overlooking Lake Pichola. Sajjangarh Palace, also known as the Monsoon Palace, offers panoramic views of the city and surrounding countryside. The Vintage Car Museum displays classic vehicles used by the royal family, adding a unique touch to the itinerary. Jag Mandir Palace, located on an island in Lake Pichola, is known for its marble architecture and historical significance. A sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola is a highlight, offering stunning views of the city’s lakeside palaces and ghats.
The tour concludes with departure from Udaipur, leaving travelers with a well-rounded experience of Rajasthan’s cultural and natural diversity. This Rajasthan tour package is ideal for those who want to explore the state’s heritage without committing to a longer itinerary. It includes a hill station, a desert fortress city, and a lakeside royal capital, offering a variety of landscapes and experiences. The routing is practical, minimizing travel time and allowing for relaxed exploration. Accommodations are comfortable, and the schedule includes both guided sightseeing and free time for personal discovery. The 6N/7D Blissful Mount Abu Tour Package with Udaipur & Jodhpur is a thoughtfully designed Rajasthan tour package that covers essential highlights in a manageable timeframe. It’s suitable for solo travelers, couples, families, and small groups looking for a mix of history, nature, and leisure.
