Kozhikode which is also known as Calicut is a city in the Indian state of Kerala. It has been a prosperous trading city since the 14th century. Vasco Da Gama first landed just 15kms north of the city during ancient times.
Thrissur or Trichur is a city located in the Thrissur district of Kerala, India. The city is centred around a large park, Thekkinkadu Maidan (known as the 'Round') and a Hindu temple complex, Vadakkumnathan Temple.
We’ll be exploring the 80-feet Athirappilly Falls, a part of the Chalakudy River surrounded by lush green forest. The falls lie at a distance of 73 km from Cochin. It is also famous for Indian elephants roaming in the wild and also some rare and exotic birds.
