Overview
The Tawang bike expedition is the holy grail for bikers in India, attracting adventurers from around the globe. This rugged route, often referred to as the “land of dawn-lit mountains,” offers a raw and thrilling experience that calls for a certain level of madness and an appetite for adventure. We kick off our 7-night, 8-day bike expedition to Tawang from Guwahati. Known as 'the city of Eastern Light,' Guwahati stands majestically on the southern banks of the mighty Brahmaputra River. As the capital of Assam, it serves as the gateway to the entire northeastern region, surrounded by lush hills and enriched with diverse flora and fauna that enhance its natural scenic beauty. Our journey continues to Dirang, a quaint village in Arunachal Pradesh located in the West Kameng district at an altitude of 4,900 ft. Here, you can stroll through the peaceful village, soaking in the serene environment and the warm hospitality of the locals.
A highlight of our expedition is Singstar Tso, also known as PTSO Lake, which stands as one of the highest altitude lakes in India at 15,200 ft. Nestled along the route from Tawang to Bumla Pass, this stunning lake offers breathtaking views that are sure to leave you enchanted. The Bum La Pass, located about 37 km away from Tawang, sits at the Indo-China border at an altitude of over 16,500 ft. The roads leading to Bum La are often covered with snow, and this route holds historical significance, having witnessed one of the fiercest battles during the 1962 Sino-Indian War. Next, we arrive in Tawang, perched at an elevation of 10,000 ft. Tawang boasts unmatched natural beauty that will leave you awestruck. Among its iconic attractions is the Tawang Monastery, the largest monastery in India, known for its stunning architecture and spiritual ambiance. Our adventure continues to Thembang Heritage Village, a unique village recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Here, you'll experience traditional Monpa houses constructed of stone, immersing yourself in the rich cultural heritage of the region. The ideal time to visit Arunachal Pradesh is during the summer months of April to June, when the valley comes alive with wildflowers and greenery under pleasant weather. For those wishing to experience the winter charm, the period from October to February offers a magical landscape, with Tawang adorned in snow, perfect for a picturesque Christmas and New Year celebration.
As we celebrate the festive season, expect delightful Christmas and New Year festivities along the way, featuring 2+2 Snacks, Music, Cake, and a Bonfire (weather dependent). Any additional expenses of personal nature. Additional accommodation/food costs incurred due to any delayed travel. Cost Of Any Spare Part Which Will Be Used Due To The Accidental Damage Incurred When The Motorbike Is In Rider’s Possession. Cost Incurred To Transfer Or Tow The Motorbike In Case It Is Dropped On The Way. Any lunch and other meals not mentioned in Package Inclusions. Any Airfare / Rail fare other than what is mentioned in “Inclusions” or any type of transportation from Guwahati to Guwahati. Additional Costs due to Flight Cancellations, Landslides, Roadblocks, and other natural calamities. A security deposit of Rs. 5,000/- per motorbike. As per the deposit policy, this amount is refundable if there is no damage or spare parts used by the end of the trip. The Amount will be refunded within 5 Working Days. Any other services not specified above in Inclusions. |

Credit Note :
The Booking Amount will be credited to your JW Profile which can be accessed by logging in to the website through your Phone Number & OTP. Credit Notes issued have no date of expiry and can be used entirely in any of your future trips.
GST :
Any GST charged on any transaction will not be refunded.
Pending Refund :
Any refund pending on your booking will be credited to the same mode of payment through which you paid in 5-7 working days.
Partial Refund :
Any case in which a partial refund will be issued will be calculated after deducting the Booking Amount and Cancellation Charges depending on the time of Cancellation.
Remaining Amount :
Will be calculated on the amount paid over and above the booking amount.
Bypass Policy :
Any and all Cancellation Policies are superseded by the Emergency Case Cancellation Policy in case of situations such as war, pandemics, force majeure, or similar extraordinary events affecting the tour region.

This was my first group trip and road trip to Spiti valley which was excellent. All strangers become close friends by the end of the trip and all of us feel like going on another trip with the same group. The stay was very comfortable and clean, beautiful peaceful locations with perfect mountains and sunrise view. All the sight seeing and activities like trekking, hiking were really good.

I recently went to Winter Spiti Valley trip with JustWravel which ended up being more as a trip with best friends. JustWravel had everything sorted for us be it transportation, safety, constant checkups, personalised care , accommodation, food and everything was super comfortable and amazing.

Just got back 😁,from ,a week long,20-26 th January , all girls tour package of Manali -kasol-jibhi, headed by geetanjali and Divya ...,as travel coordinators....the trip was truly enjoyable and very memorable, especially ,for me ,as the youngest girl,at 56years,in a group of 16 girls (20 year olds)....the team leader , geetanjali and second in command,Divya are very capable, sporty and encouraging type...they make an excellent combination and have good leadership quality..,will go ,great places in the near future....they are capable of tackling unforseen circumstances in a spirited manner,...also ,not to be forgotten , to complement ,the driving skills of Mr.Mani bhaiya, who navigated the difficult terrain and unpredictable weather conditions, very well.
