Overview
Narsinghpur or Narsimhapur town has a large temple of Lord Narsingh. This temple was constructed by Jat Sardar in the 18th century.
Khirwar clan Jats came to this place from Brij and founded the city of Narsinghpur, where they ruled for a long period. Khirwars of Narsinghpur were followers of god Narsingh, here they constructed two temples of Narsingh Avatar.
