Overview
Located on the bank of the Bramhaputra and Gadadhar rivers, Dhubri is an old town in Assam. It is called the "Land of Rivers" as it is covered three sides by rivers. It got its name from dubori which is a tyoe og grass widely used in rituals.
Dhubri is also famous for its Durga Puja and Dashera and about 50% of the population are Bengali.
November is one of the best month to visit Dhubri.
