Overview
Nahan is a town in Himachal Pradesh and is the headquarters of the Sirmaur District. It is also the location of Indian Special Forces Training School.
Situated at an altitude of 932 metres, Nahan is a good base for visits to the surrounding areas like Renukaji Lake, Paonta Sahib, Trilokpur temple and the Suketi Fossil Park. It has a pleasant climate throughout the year.
There are many temples here like the Miyan Mandir, Nainidhar Shiv Mandir, Kalisthan Temple and Jagannath Temple.
The town's special attractions include its three lovely walkways, the Villa Round, the Military Round and the Hospital Round.
