Mirik located on the banks of a picturesque lake is a hill station in the Darjeeling District in northern part of West Bengal.

The name Mirik comes from the Lepcha words ‘Mir Yok’ which means ‘Place Burnt by Fire’. Mirik is one of the favorite tourist destinations in West Bengal. It is special to the tourists because of its climate, natural beauty & hospitality of the people of Mirik.
