Overview
Founded in the year 1905, Nizamabad is located in the north-western region in the Indian state of Telangana. Nizam stands for Nizam, the governor (of the empire) of Hyderabad State and Abad means 'Long Live'. So, the city derived its name from Nizam-ul-Mulk, the fourth Nizam of the Hyderabad state. It was known as Indur back in1905 when it was originated. Nizamabad is a perfect blend of various culture. Nizamabad is a perfect weekend getaway.
