Overview
Also known as white ant hillock, Haflong is located in the Indian state of Assam and is at an elevation of 513 meters above sea level. It is a place blessed with natural beauty. It is the only hill station in Assam and is also named as “Switzerland of the East”. The town is famous for its lakes, ethnic villages, views of the surrounding hills. One should visit this places when in Assam.
The best time to visit Haflong is between the months of October and February. However, the hill station is perfect for an all-season visit.
