Trekking to Dzukou Valley and Japfu Peak
The Dzukou flower valley is tucked away at 2438 mts above sea level, behind the Japfu range in the north eastern state of Nagaland in India. As the month of June to September arrives, the entire valley is covered with a carpet of beautiful wild flowers. The Dzukou valley is one of the most ideal place for trekking adventure tour and for peace and nature lovers. The Dzukou valley is just 30 km from Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland. The swirling streams that loiters through Dzukou freezes during extreme winter. The Flora of Dzukou Valley, untouched civilization and splendiferous in its beauty, this valley otherwise called the flower valley of celestial charm has an tempting appeal to all who gaze it. In summer, wild herbs, flowers and shrubs sprout along the stream banks. Lilies in white and pink,euphorbias, aconitums and hundreds of other botanical species in varied colours adorn the valley in monsoon.
This is one of the best trekking destination spot in the north-eastern region. The valley is surrounded by hills, nature caves and rocks and is thus, ideal for camping. Inspite of the difficult terrain and non-availability of facilities, this is one of the most frequented trekking holiday travel spot in the entire North East India. Its emerald green rolling hills interlinked by gentle flowing stream are trekker’s fancy. A few tourist rest house are constructed for trekkers tips.
Besides trekking adventure, Dzukou is also fomous as destination rich in its bio-diversity, the predominant plant is the tough bamboo brush because of which it looks like a justify mown lawn from far away. Rhododendrons of different colours beatify the hills abounding the valley.

1st Day : Guwahati to Kohima
We start our journey from Guwahati early morning towards Kohima which is aron 8 - 9 hours drive.
Overnight at Hotel/Homestay
2nd Day : Kohima to Dzukou Valley
Today after breakfast we shall trek to Dziikou valley “the Flowering valley”.
Morning drive of 22 km to Zakhama Checkpost. The trek follows a Jeepable road for first 2 km and then trek steeply to the ridge top. From ridge descend to Dzukou Valley.
Over Night Stay at Dzukou Valley
3rd Day : Dzukou to Japfii peak
After breakfast explore Dziikou valley and trek to Mt Japfii peak the second highest mountain in Nagaland and is at the height of 3048 meters above sea level.
4th Day : Dzukou to Kohima
After breakfast, we will explore flower valley. Click few pictures on our way back and will trek back to kohima.
Overnight stay hotel / homestay
5th Day : Kohima to Guwahati
Today after breakfast we will drive back from Kohima to Guwahati. Trip Ends.

Incase of government orders, harsh weather conditions , protests , landslides or any other unforseen circumstances , we work out the best possible alternate plans or trips/treks. At times even even certain activities are cancelled , the organization provides the best alternate but no refunds are provided.
If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.), JustWravel will issue a trek voucher for the full amount and if possible will provide an alternate trek. The voucher can be redeemed upto same amount for the same trek or another trek in the next 365 days from the trek departure date.
If a trek or trip cannot be completed due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.). No refund would be provided.
Any extra expense coming due to any natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.), Will be beared by customer. Company will not be liable.
