General Information About Safari at Jim Corbett National Park

Jim Corbett National Park is one of the oldest national parks in India. The national park is situated near Ramnagar in the Nainital district of Uttrakhand. The park comprises area of hills, riverine belts, marshy depressions, grasslands and a large lake.

The park contains 488 different species of plants and wide variety of wildlife including Elephants, Tigers, Sambhal Deer, Chital, Nilgai, Gharial, King Cobra, Muntjac, Wild boar, hedgehog, common musk shrew, flying fox, Indian pangolin and around 600 different species of birds.

There are total 6 zones in the national park where one can explore and do safari. Such zones are Dhikala, Jhirna, Bijrani, Durga Devi, Sonanadi and Phato.

Arrive at Corbett National Park

Arrive at Corbett National Park, check in at resort and freshen up. Nestled in the foothills of Kumaon ranges of Himalayas, Corbett National Park is home to rich and varied topography and vegetation which reflects its diversity of habitat and natural beauty.

Get acclimatized to the lush green environment. Post lunch relax at resort or one can indulge in indoor & outdoor games like table tennis, cricket etc. Tea and snacks in the evening.  Enjoy bonfire late in the evening.

Dinner & overnight stay at resort.

Wildlife safari and departure

Early morning open Jeep Safari at Corbett National Park. Corbett is home to more than 200 tigers & 700 wild elephants.

After safari return to resort and have breakfast.

Freshen up and start for onward destination with sweet memories of the tour.
