These experiences with the villages and the people inside them are ones that you will cherish for a long time. They take hospitality to a whole new level.

Lifestyle and diverse landscapes allow people to witness true beauty. Along with this, the snow-clad mountain peaks add for an energetic experience while on the trek.

The itinerary for the Pindari Glacier Trek consists of trekking from Dwali to Kharkiya. Before this, there are road journeys from Kathgodam to Kharkiya.

Once the trek back to Kharkiya is over, a road journey to Kathgodam is there once again.

What’s the best time to visit Pindari Glacier Trek? The ideal seasons to attempt this trek are during the months of April to June in the summer.

The snow cover gets melted away during the summer and a fresh, green trail is revealed at the end of it. September to November during the post-monsoon period is also great.

Before winter and post-monsoon allow for the perfect time gap where you get to witness more flowers bloom. However, monsoon months are usually avoided as the terrain becomes hard to trek.

It’s more prone to landslides as it's slippery and muddy.

The weather during Pindari Glacier Trek plays an important role as it affects the trekking experience. You have to wear the right clothing for the trek depending on the weather conditions.

For example, during July and August, heavy rainfall is present throughout. From December to March, the weather is extremely cold as the temperatures usually hover around 10 degrees celsius.

The best way to reach the Pindari Glacier Trek by rail is to take the Ranikhet Express from Delhi. If you wish to travel by bus, then the ISBT Delhi Anand Vihar station is the best option.

Regular buses travel from the station to Kathgodam. Private buses are usually not trustworthy, so we recommend that you take government buses instead.

The trek is moderately difficult as you have to be prepared to walk 7 hours a day. A trekking pole may come in handy.

The reasons you need to check the Pindari Glacier Trek in 2020 are far more than many. But, if you still have doubts then let us clear them up while you are on the Pindari Glacier Trek with JustWravel.
