Overview

Rajasthan is a state in northern India and it is also the largest state in India. The name Rajasthan means “Land of Kings” and it lives up to its name with many castles, forts and lakes amidst arid deserts. This makes up for quite an interesting sight to see with local people, food and colorful clothes adding to the vibe of the place. We start our 5 nights 6 days Exhilarating Tour Package of Ranthambore with Jaipur and Pushkar from Jaipur, which is the capital city of Rajasthan. It is also known as the “Pink City” as almost all of the buildings and architecture adorn pink color on their walls.  Hawa Mahal is a beautiful palace which is made up of red and pink sandstone. Jal Mahal on the other hand is a palace in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. It is a brilliant example of Rajput Style of architecture. Jantar Mantar is a collection of nineteen astronomical instruments in the shape of architecture. It has the world’s largest sundial and is also a UNESCO world heritage site. Ajmer is one of the oldest cities of India, surrounded by the Aravali Mountains. Ajmer has one of the holiest shrines for the Muslims in the world, Dargah Sharif which only comes second to Mecca in Saudi Arabia. Legend has it that Mughal emperor Akbar was one of the most famous devotees of Chisti and once walked barefoot all the way from Agra to Ajmer.

Pushkar is a city in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan which is famous for its temples and pilgrimage sites for both Hindus and Sikhs. Some of the most famous places to visit in Pushkar are the Pushkar lake, Gurudwara Singh Sabha and Brahma Temple. The world famous Pushkar Camel fair starts in November which makes it one of the best times to visit Pushkar. It is one of the best places to see the sun go down, you might want to hop off to a rooftop cafe to unwind from the day’s travel and enjoy a surreal sunset and some local delicacies of Pushkar. Ranthambore National Park is one of the biggest national parks of India. It is situated in vicinity of Aravali hills and highly reserved for the natural habitat to the significant number of bengal Tigers. This park is enclosed by Chambal river and Banas river. You will witness majestic tigers, ultimate species of animals, birds and captivating greenery. You will also visit Ranthambore Fort which is located inside the Ranthambore National Park. This fort is declared as a UNESCO world heritage site due to its historical significance. There are many interesting varieties of animals that one can see here and experience them living free in the wild, the main one being the Royal Bengal Tiger. Other animals include some large mammals such as Indian leopard, striped hyenas, golden jackal, sambar deers, wild boars, mongooses, langurs, honey badgers to name a few.
