Wayanad is an Indian district in the north-east end of the state of Kerala which is one of the high altitude places located in the state, the altitude ranging from 700 to 2100mts. Wayanad is famous for its Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve which falls both into Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Its landscape is full of green landscapes, bamboo and betel plantations along with cardamom and coffee plantations. It is also famous as a weekend getaway for both Indian and foreigners.
Kozhikode which is also known as Calicut is a city in the Indian state of Kerala. It has been a prosperous trading city since the 14th century. Vasco Da Gama first landed just 15kms north of the city during ancient times.
Thrissur or Trichur is a city located in the Thrissur district of Kerala, India. The city is centred around a large park, Thekkinkadu Maidan (known as the 'Round') and a Hindu temple complex, Vadakkumnathan Temple.
We’ll be exploring the 80-feet Athirappilly Falls, a part of the Chalakudy River surrounded by lush green forest. The falls lie at a distance of 73 km from Cochin. It is also famous for Indian elephants roaming in the wild and also some rare and exotic birds.

Itinerary (Kunnur to Cochin)
1st Day : Kannur Arrival
Pick-up from Kannur Airport/Railway station and drop to hotel. Done with check-in formalities and have some rest.
You will visit today Fort St. Angelo, built in 1505 by Portuguese and Arakkal Museum. In evening back to your hotel. Overnight stay in Hotel
2nd Day : Kannur to Wayanad Transfer
After breakfast, You will visit remaining sightseeing of Kannur Kannur Lighthouse & Payyambalam Beach and proceed to Wayanad. It will take 3 hour to reach Wayanad. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Hotel.
3rd Day : Wayanad to Kozhikode Transfer
After breakfast you will start local sightseeing of Wayanad.
Wayanad is known for its green mountains, lush forests and green paddy fields. You will explore Edakkal Caves, Soochippara Falls and Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary after visiting these places proceed to Kozhikode.
On arrival check-in to your hotel And relex at Kozhikode Beach. Overnight stay in Hotel.
4th Day : Kozhikode to Thrissur Transfer
After breakfast you will go for local sightseeing of Kozhikode. Places you will see see kappad Beach (Kappad is the place where Vasco da Gama set foot for the first time), Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary, Pazhassiraja Archaeological Museum and Dolphin's Point after that proceed to Thrissur. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay in your hotel.
5th Day : Thrissur Sightseeing - Athirappilly Water Falls - Thrissur
After breakfast we will go for excursion of Athirappilly Water Falls
When we talk about Athirappilly waterfall, we get a vision of actress Aishwarya Rai dancing for the song 'Barso re'!. Athirappilly waterfall is formed by Chalakudy River. It is largest waterfall of Kerala and also call "The Naigara of India". It is surrounded by a dense Vazhachal Forest Which is one of the best bio-diversity hotspots in Kerala.
In afternoon come back to the main city and visit remaining places of Thrissur - Thrissur Zoo & Museum and Vadakkunnathan Temple. In evening back to your hotel. Overnight stay in Hotel
6th Day : Thrissur to Cochin Departure
After breakfast you will drop to Cochin International Airport/Railway station.

At times even even certain activities are cancelled , the organization provides the best alternate but no refunds are provided.
If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.), JustWravel will issue a trek voucher for the full amount and if possible will provide an alternate trek. The voucher can be redeemed upto same amount for the same trek or another trek in the next 365 days from the trek departure date.
