It is sprawled over 758 sq km, it has a plethora of rich flora and fauna.  There are large varieties of animals which can be found in the national park are Indian Tiger, Sambar Deer, Spotted Deer, Wild Boar, Stag, Antelopes and much more.

The best time to visit for the tourists is during the winter (October to March) and monsoon period (July to September) season as the temperature remains pleasant through the day.
