    1st Day : Arrival and Transfer to Thimphu

    Day at leisure 

    Overnight stay at Thimphu.

    2nd Day : Thimphu sightseeing

    Today we'll explore full of Thimphu. 

    • Tashichho Dzong- This is a grand fort, where the biggest annual festival happens. 

    • Weekend market- This place is for you to buy souvenirs for your beloved ones. 

    • Changangkha Lhakhang- this is a famous Buddhist temple built in 12 ce. 

    • National Memorial Chorten- one of the most visited places by the tourists. This is built in Tibetan style with whitewashed walls and a golden roof. 

    • Tango Goemba- This is another Buddhist site built in 15 ce. To reach this place you have to trek uphill for 45 min (approx) .

    3rd Day : Thimphu to Punakha

    Thimphu to Punakha takes around 2 and a half hour. While going from Thimphu to punakha there is a Dochula Pass, at a height of 3100m. The pass has scenic valleys and you can witness the beautiful mountain peaks. After reaching Punakha we will visit the following places

    • Punakha Dzong- It is the largest Dzong in Bhutan and the most important place to visit in punakha. It was built in 1637.

    • Khamsum yulley Namgyal Chorten- monument built by the Queen in 1999. You can choose to take a hike to reach this place through the rice Paddies. 

    • Mo chhu- this is the most important river in Himalayan nation.

    4th Day : Punakha to Bumthang via Trongsa

    We'll leave for Bumthang in the morning via Trongsa.

    Trongsa means "New Village'', this is one of the most spectacular sites in Bhutan. Trongsa dzong got its name from retreat temples, It once served as the ancestral house of the royal family of Bhutan.

    It will be late evening till we reach Bumthang. Checkin and rest in the hotel.

    5th Day : Bumthang

    This day will be for you to explore Bumthang. Following Sights will be covered-

    • jambay Lgakhang- is considered to be one of the oldest and the most sacred temples in Bhutan and is also where a number of festivals are held.

    • Mebar Tso- also known as the Burning lake, in Tang Valley, takes about 40 minutes to reach from Bumthang. It holds great spiritual significance for the pilgrims, marked with colourful prayer flags and butter lamps offered by them.It has beautiful surroundings to suit a nature-lover's taste.

    • Red Panda Brewery and Cheese Factory- they are situated next to each other and are quite interesting to visit. Established in the 1960s the site states the art of cheesemaking machines. At the brewery, one can witness the process which results in unfiltered Weiss Beer. Apple cider and wine are also available.

    • Ura Valley - On the way to this valley one can catch a glimpse of the highest mountain peak in Bhutan, Mt. Gangkhar Puensum. The route has a beautiful view of the valley, sheep pastures and forests. This valley is different from other regions with clustered and colourful houses.

    6th Day : Bumthang to Gangtey

    We'll leave for Gangtey in the morning and reach by evening. You can take a hault and click some pictures enroute this beautiful town. Once you reach Gangtey Rest of the day is for leisure.

    7th Day : Gangtey sightseeing

    This day is for you to explore Gangtey, The valley is one of the most beautiful spots in Bhutan. We'll cover the following -

    • Gangtey Gompa- It is the only Nyingmapa monastery on the western side of the Black Mountain’s Gangtey valley, Bhutan and also the biggest Nyingmapa monastery in Bhutan. It also houses one of the largest halls in Bhutan.

    • Black Necked Crane Information Centre- The black-necked crane information Centre is equipped with a high power telescope and spotting scopes for catching the best view of the cranes. Anyone with a keen interest in birds might find this place most suitable

    The best part of the centre is, it also offers display information that outline the natural and cultural history of the area. You can also buy some handicraft produced by local from the nearby shop. 

    • Gangtey Nature Trails and Hikes- There are a couple of trails that ranges from easy to tough. The easiest option might be the 90-minute trail from the north of Gangtey Goemba which culminates at Khewang Lhakhang. It is a great option for bird-watchers and hikers.

    • Wangmo Hand-Woven Carpet Factory- It is an industry that weaves beautiful handwoven carpets with intricate patterns and designs. It was set up by a local woman known as Dorji Wangmo in 1992. This could be a part of an unforgettable experience, since it is a must-visit site if you're in Phobjikha Valley,Gangtey.

    8th Day : Gangtey to Paro

    Today we'll leave for Paro from Gangtey. Paro is a town in the Paro valley of Bhutan. It is one of the most historic valleys of Bhutan, home to 155 temples and monasteries.

    Late noon we'll reach Paro, and the rest of the day is for you to explore the nearby areas.

    9th Day : Paro

    This day is allotted for you to explore the beauty of Paro. Following sights will be covered-

    • Tigers nest monastery - is one of the most prominent Buddhist sites in Bhutan. It is located 900 meters above the Paro Valley, the architecture of this monastery is marvelous. One is advised to take up a trek to this monastery and enjoy the spectacular view. 

    • The National Museum of Bhutan- It is the pride of the country preserving the rich history of Bhutan within its walls. You can see paintings, art pieces, animal masks, and many more facets of the rich culture. It has six floors, each of the floors has a unique tale to narrate from the past. It was constructed in 1649 as a watchtower against Tibetan soldiers, later got converted to the National Museum in 1968.

    • Tachogang Lhakhang Bridge- Popularly known as the Iron Chain Bridge. This bridge was built 600-year back by Thangtong Gyalpo in the late 1300s who is said to have built 108 bridges all over Tibet and Bhutan.Tachogang Lhakhang Bridge

    gives the fantastic view of surroundings.

    • Paro Chhu- This river is the lifeline of Paro, It is a picturesque river worth spending some time at.

    • Paro Weekend Market- This vibrant market has Bhutanese stamps, antiques, prayer wheels and whatnot, and many more. You get here all what you require. Also, you can try some local food.

    So just end your day and your trip by visiting this place.

Incase of government orders, harsh weather conditions , protests , landslides or any other unforseen circumstances , we work out the best possible alternate plans or trips/treks. At times even even certain activities are cancelled , the organization provides the best alternate but no refunds are provided.

 If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.), JustWravel will issue a trek voucher for the full amount and if possible will provide an alternate trek. The voucher can be redeemed upto same amount for the same trek or another trek in the next 365 days from the trek departure date.

 If a trek or trip cannot be completed due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.). No refund would be provided.

 Any extra expense coming due to any natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.), Will be beared by customer. Company will not be liable.
