Description

Kazakhstan is a blend of rich culture and history, from spiritual leaders to artisans and performers. Alongside modern concert halls and international-level performers are traditional musicians, keeping alive generations of songs and poems. Applied arts are still popular for decorating houses and yurts, while museums hold some of the finest examples of workmanship by Kazakh artists.

Whether you want to head out on a short hike, a quick picnic, or a longer trek through the mountains or steppes, there’s no shortage of beautiful places.

As the monsoon departs, the natural grandeur of Almaty reaches its zenith. Almaty has a plethora of options to offer — Medeu, the city’s outdoor ice skating rink, and Shymbulak is the nearby ski resort(Asia’s largest Ski resort).

Singing dune is a wonderful place with a lot of sand. When the wind is blowing from the West dispersing the sands, one has a feeling that the pipe organ is playing in the heart of the desert. Up to now this phenomenon is still a riddle of nature, but the scientists suppose that in hot dry weather the sand gets electrified due to friction and creates a certain sonic vibration.
